The Mexican icon tells the “Hips Don’t Lie” singer, “I heard you had a problem with your family. I’m with you because I’m a woman. And if someone in life knows about these things, [it’s me].”

The singer continued to show exactly why she is everyone’s wise abuelita— and a feminist icon to boot. “The important thing is that you have your family, you have who to live for. You have everything in life. Don’t worry.”
