J.Lo Posted BTS Super Bowl Footage And Shared Her Booty Shaking “Tutorial” With Shakira

Jennifer Lopez and Shakira owned the Super Bowl halftime show this year. The Puerto Rican and Colombian singers cranked up the sexy and talent with a halftime show we are still talking about.

J.Lo shared some behind-the-scene moments from her Super Bowl halftime show.

J.Lo and Shakira’s Super Bowl halftime show brought in 103 million viewers. This was a 4 percent increase from the previous year, which was Maroon 5. Three million more people enjoyed the show and it caused more than a thousand people to call and complain because many complained that it was too sexual.

But everyone is obsessing over the last video in the post.

In the final video, J.Lo and Shakira are going over the choreography. The move they are trying to nail is the booty shake and Shakira asks J.Lo how she does it. Fortunately, you can hear what they say and J.Lo responds.

“I do it with my knees,” J.Lo told Shakira before laughing. “When you shake your knees, your butt goes. My mother taught me that when I was four.”

Her former costar from “Hustlers” had to comment and quote J.Lo.

We hope that this is something that J.Lo taught the women he worked with on the movie. It is pretty solid advice for good booty shaking. Let’s face it, we all know that J.Lo’s booty-shaking is a move she does time and time again. She does it because she is good at it and people like to see it. Now we know how she does it.

People are living for this content.

Lol. Honestly, this isn’t surprising. Anything we ever wanted to know, we asked our parents. Our parents are usually just really fun and there is the openness with our parents when it comes to things in the home. It is a fun, safe bubble where we all let ourselves be ourselves.

There was some confusion because Shakira is known for her dancing.

In J.Lo’s defense, booty-shaking is completely different than shaking your hips. It requires a different kind of movement in your body. Hips and booty move differently and J.Lo might also need advice from Shakira on how to shake her hips.

The post is bringing memories back for everyone about the halftime show that shook the NFL world.

More than 1,000 people complained to the FCC claiming that the show was overly sexual. The claims sparked fierce debate on social media about the merits of the claims and the visuals of the performance. The debate was split with people arguing that those complaining where policing brown bodies.

However, the most obvious thing people are doing is learning a new move for the end of quarantine.

The end of the quarantine is everything that they have all wanted to celebrate for a long time. Thankfully, J.Lo gave us a chance to learn something new while still social distancing and self-isolating.

Netflix’s ‘The Baby-Sitters Club’ Reboot Is A Millennial Fan Girl’s Dream

Netflix

Get ready, mi gente! The Netflix version of “The Baby-Sitters Club” is about to totally shake up your views on reboots.

That’s right, Netflix has given the beloved series, based on the books of the 80s, a new makeover and it has all of the updates you have been begging for. Slightly edgier and loads more diverse, the new series features the same characters written by Ann M. Martin decades ago. This time however the series comes with twists that make the babysitters’ little fictional town of Stony Brook, Connecticut all the more exciting.

From Kristy and Mary Anne to Claudia, Stacey, and even Dawn the gang’s all here!

Check them out below!

Dawn Schafer

Played by Xochitl Gomez (“Gentefied,” “You’re the Worst,” and “Raven’s Home”), Dawn is featured in the new series as Mary Anne’s new Latina friend who recently moved to Stoneybrook from Los Angeles. Dawn is the club’s alternate officer and an eco-conscious Latina who joins in a few episodes into the season. Speaking about her role as a character who had initially been blonde and blue-eyed in the books, Gomez told The Los Angeles Times that “it’s really important that there is representation for girls that look like me. When I was younger, I didn’t see many characters on TV shows that I could see myself in. And it really matters that TV reflects the world.”

Claudia Kishi

“The Baby-Sitters Club”/ Netflix

Momona Tamada plays the series’ beloved character, Claudia. As one of the only characters of color in the OG series, Claudia became a fan favorite for readers due to her many talents, beauty and smarts. In this series, not much has changed. She’s still the style-conscious vice president with a passion for art who loves her Japanese-American roots despite never having learned to speak Japanese.

Stacey McGill

“The Baby-Sitters Club”/ Netflix

Stacey is still the treasurer of club. She comes from the Upper West Side of Manhattan and has quite the thumb for style. In the Netflix series she is played by Shay Rudolph. One of the most exciting changes in this new series is that Stacey (who in the books struggled with hiding her diagnosis with Type 1 Diabetes) is open and proud of her disorder. “I knew I had a lot of responsibility playing Stacey,” Rudolph told LA Times in an interview before explaining that she herself interviewed teens with diabetes to prepare for her role. “I asked the people I talked to what it feels like when blood sugar is dropping and what they can and can’t do without an insulin pump. I want it to be empowering to younger kids when they see Stacey is still so loved and accepted by her friends even though she has this thing she is self-conscious about.”

Mary Anne Spier

“The Baby-Sitters Club”/ Netflix

For her role as Mary Anne, Malia Baker does a pretty spot-on job as the shy club secretary of the OG series who is also Kristy’s best friend. “I haven’t read a lot of books about shy girls,” Baker told the LA Times. “I know that’s kind of weird to say, but I connected with Mary Anne the most because deep down I am a shy person. But I also connected with all of the characters in different ways. And that’s one of the great things about ‘The Baby-Sitters Club’; you can connect with at least one of the characters.”

In this new series, Mary Anne’s character eventually proves to be just one example of the show’s effort to push for diversity. In one of her most defining moments in the new series, Mary Anne babysits for and stands up for a young transgender kid when they’re misgendered.

Kristy Thomas

“The Baby-Sitters Club”/ Netflix

And finally, there’s the club’s leader: Kristy. Played by Sophie Grace, Kristy in this series remains the president of the club. In this series, she’s quick to call out social injustices and loves her gals more than ever. “I’m so honored to be a part of a series like this that gives kids someone to relate to,” Sophie Grace explained. “Kristy has her family struggles. Her parents are divorced. That’s really hard for kids, and we see how she’s finding her way through that.”

Although fans have long speculated that Queen of Rap may be pregnant, she herself has thrown out some not-so-veiled hints, we finally have confirmation that the rapper is expecting her first child.

On Monday, in a beautiful series of Instagram photos, the 37-year-old rapper confirmed that she was #preggers. Her fans – including her celeb friends – immediately chimed in to offer their congratulations.

On Instagram, Minaj confirmed that she was definitely pregnant.

A huge congratulations are in order for the raptress, Nicki Minaj, who on Monday confirmed in an Instagram post that she’s pregnant. The rapper, 37, announced the news that she’s expecting her first child in a series of photos on Monday.

In the first post, Minaj wears a bikini and shows off a side view of her baby bump with the hashtag “#Preggers” and a heart emoji.

In two more posts following her initial announcement, Minaj shared more photos of her holding her growing belly. In the third post, she writes, “Love. Marriage. Baby carriage. Overflowing with excitement & gratitude. Thank you all for the well wishes.”

Minaj and her husband, Kenneth Petty, started dating in 2018 and tied the knot in October 2019. Just five years ago the rapper predicted that she’d be a wife and mon by the year 2025 – looks like she made that prediction come true.

Ten years from now, I will have two children, unless my husband wants three,” she told Cosmopolitan at the time. “I will be into my fitness a lot more, I will stop yo-yo dieting, and I’ll be a housewife with careers that I can run from home. I want to be able to cook for my children, bake cookies for them, and watch them grow up. I just want to be mommy. Take them to school, go to the parent-teacher conference, help them with their homework, and put their work on the refrigerator.”

It wasn’t exactly a secret though, as the raptress had been dropping hints for months.

Fans have been speculating for months whether or not Minaj has been pregnant when she tweeted about her food cravings after being asked what she’s cooking during quarantine, and alluded to symptoms of morning sickness. She also posted a video of her husband, Kenneth Petty, rubbing her stomach back in February.

“Absolutely. Steak. Shrimp. Plus my famous cheeseburgers. So good. Been rlly having red meat cravings then salad cravings with extra jalapeños. Ordered Chkn nachos that didn’t come w/jalapeños. Who does that? Wow.”

Before news of her very real pregnancy, Minaj seemed to enjoy having fun with the idea and the frenzy a potential pregnancy would cause. On an episode on Queen Radio last February, Minaj announced she was expecting before backtracking and explaining it was a big joke.

“I’m pregnant,” she said, releasing a loud laugh moments later. “They really gon’ believe me — my manager’s face! He was about to die!”

Minaj has also been very open about her desire to become a mother.

But pregnancy hasn’t always been a joke for Minaj. In 2018, Minaj told Wonderland how much she wanted to have kids. “I’ve got to get married first then I’ll have a child. I might be closer than people think actually,” she said. “I love children. I’m not going to put that off for much longer.”

In September, Minaj announced on Twitter that she “decided to retire & have my family.” After uproar from fans, she clarified her comments in December during an interview with Billboard.

“I love music and interacting with fans, so I can’t really see taking myself completely away. But I want to be open to other possibilities in my life,” she said. “I do believe it is important to become a woman outside of the magnifying glass. I have to make sure that I’m well-rounded as a human being.”

Fans – including some other major celebs – chimed in offering their congratulations!

As soon as news broke on Monday that she was pregnant, the well wishes started to pour in. Her Instagram post already has nearly 8 million likes from fans and tons of felicidades from everyone from Halle Berry to model Winnie Harlow.

Halle Berry wrote, “YES Congratulations beauty!!!!♥️♥️♥️♥️”

Sam Smith wrote, “Congratulations beautiful x”

Model Winnie Harlow wrote, “Knew it knew it knew it 😍😍😍😍 SO HAPPY FOR YOU! Love you!!”
