Kendall Jenner and Bad Bunny’s Ex Seen Back to Back in Coachella VIP Area
Coachella 2023 was one for the ages, filled with incredible performances from some of the hottest Latin acts in music. But it was Bad Bunny’s love life drama on the second weekend that got the attention of the fans even before he set foot on stage.
During his second weekend set, Bad Bunny brought out his compas of Grupo Frontera, who sang two of their songs by themselves before El Conejo returned to the stage to perform their wildly successful “Un “X100to”.
Similarly, Ñengo Flow and reggaeton duo Jowell & Randy for “Safaera,” and Jhayco came out to perform “Dákiti,” “Tarot,” and his song “No Me Conoce.” One of the set’s highlights was when José Feliciano played guitar for an unplugged performance of “La Canción.”
However, the real drama happened in the Coachella VIP section
Bad Bunny’s former flame Gabriela Berlingeri was spotted just two rows behind his alleged current girlfriend, Kendall Jenner.
It was a telenovela triangle that had been building up during the week since Gaby told her followers that Neutrogena had invited her to the show. She was greeted by Bad Bunny’s fans all through the Coachella campus. Meanwhile, online, everybody couldn’t wait to see if the star would put her on stage, as he did many times during his last tour.
It didn’t happen, but both Benito’s present and past flames shared the exclusive VIP audience area. Did they talk? Nobody recorded such a moment, although all eyes — and cell phones — were on them. Kendall and Gaby did sing, danced, and cheered him on.
Bad Bunny seemed to find humor in the situation and powered through his set, leaving the audience on their feet and forgetting about the love triangle unfolding in the audience, not before asking Mr. Feliciano for advice:
“What should we do if your girl drops you,” asked Benito.
“What can you do? Find someone else. You can’t force somebody to love you,” said the legendary singer-songwriter while thanking him for the invitation to perform in “Cuchilla,” provoking a big laugh. Feliciano said: “Gracias Conejo Bueno.” So sweet.
Was it a message to the two ladies watching him from the audience? Only they know and probably will never say, but we can guess.
Speaking of the audience, there were plenty of other big names in attendance this year
Jeff Bezos and his girlfriend, Lauren Sáchez, were spotted taking in the sights and sounds, as were the head designer of Jacquemus, Bad Bunny’s suegros Kris Jenner and Corey Gamble, and a whole host of other celebrities. It was like a who’s who of the entertainment world.
With so many other Latinx artists on stage, the festival could have easily been called Latinchella. We saw outstanding performances from Ozuna, Selena Gomez, and Cardi B, who joined DJ Snake to sing Taki Taki. Becky G, Rosalía (No Rauw on the second weekend, unfortunately), Tokisha, Anuel AA, Danny Lux, and Eladio Carrion were also present.
At the end of the day, Coachella 2023 was one for the history books.
Bad Bunny proved why he’s one of the hottest acts in music right now, and the drama in the VIP section only added to the excitement. Fans can only wonder which Latinx stars will shine in the California desert next year and what drama will unfold.
