Like her co-star Rivera, Lauren Potter became a breakout star thanks to her role on the FOX series “Glee.” Known for her part as Becky Jackson on the series, Potter paid tribute to Potter with a photo and a heartbreaking caption that read “Cheerios Forever.”

Rivera’s “Glee” co-star Chris Colfer honored her in an Instagram post writing that “being close to her was both a badge of honor and a suit of armor.”

Speaking of Rivera, Colfer wrote “How can you convey all your love and respect for someone in one post? How can you summarize a decade of friendship and laughter with words alone? If you were friends with Naya Rivera, you simply can’t. Her brilliance and humor were unmatched.”

Glee turned Dreamgirls actress Amber Riley also paid tribute.

Riley, one of the only Black actresses besides Rivera in the early seasons of the show described Rivera as her favorite duet partner. “I love you. I miss you. I don’t have words right now, just lots of feelings. Rest In Peace Angel, and know that your family will never have to worry about anything,” she wrote.”

Heather Morris, Rivera’s love interest in Glee explained that she was taking some time to grieve.

Morris had been one of the people to join in the search for Rivera.

Reality star Nene Leakes promised to hold memories of Rivera “close to my heart.”

Actress Gwyneth Paltrow also contributed to the comments with a video of her and Naya singing “Landslide” while on Glee.

“Remembering beautiful @nayarivera today,” Paltrow commented. “Getting to sing in this trio with her was such a special moment. I am in utter shock and disbelief that someone so full of life and passion and talent is no longer with us. And completely heartbroken for her family.”

A Colombian woman has been forced to shave the hair off of her head after a man forced a hat filled with glue onto it. The attack, which occurred in front of the woman’s son, caused her to also suffer from second-degree burns.

Marcela Tascon was attacked last week by an unknown man who forced a corrosive substance on to her head.

According to reports, Tascon was at her home when a man that she did not know rang the doorbell to her apartment building and claimed to be delivering flowers for her. After the man entered the apartment complex, Tascon opened her door. Before the attack, the man asked if she was Marcela Tascon.

“Once at the door of my house, and in front of my eight-year-old son, he threw the flowers at my feet, called me a “son of a b*tch”, and pulled the hat over my head,” Tascon recalled. “He ran away, my son was shouting, very scared, and I rushed to the bathroom to clean up my head and asked my son to call the police or friends.”

Soon after the incident, Tascon was taken to a hospital where she was treated for second-degree burns to her scalp.

“The doctor told me that this kind of attack is very common in Colombia, where it is called “doing the shampoo,” Tascon told Daily Mail. “It is commonly ordered by jealous wives after finding out their husbands had cheated on them or because they envy the other women.”

Doctors at the hospital were forced to shave Tascon’s head in order to properly treat the burns and remove the glue on her hair.

Tascon is the owner of a beauty salon that is located in the same building as her home. She said that prior to the attack, she received suspicious phone calls from a woman with a Colombian accent who asked to make an appointment with her. Tascon says the woman had called her months before asking to come in to do her hair at the salon and to receive the shop’s location.

‘Two weeks later, I saw a suspicious man in my building holding a mobile phone and I asked neighbors if they were expecting a visitor,’ she recalled.

Moments before the attack, Tuscon says that she received another phone call from someone she believes to be the same woman with a Colombian accent. Tascon believes the man had been sent by the woman to attack her. Police investigations have yet to be made and the investigation is ongoing.

An unidentified 59-year-old man and a 64-year-old woman’s choice to wear masks emblazoned with swastikas has caused them to be smacked with a one year ban by Walmart. The ban comes at the hands of the couple’s decision to go shopping in a Minnesota Walmart over the weekend while donning the masks which support white supremacy, nazism, and anti-semitism.

The couple wearing swastika masks have been banned from the retail store for at least a year after their behavior was caught on video.

Edit, since this is going much further than I thought it would (and the trolls and haters are starting to roll in): I…

The unidentified couple were captured going through a checkout lane by Raphaela Mueller, a woman who filmed her encounter with them and then shared it on Facebook.

In the video, the woman wearing the mask can be seen holding up both of her middle fingers and saying “If you vote for [Joe] Biden, you’re going to be in Nazi Germany. That’s what it’s going to be like.”

She does this as another shopper tells her “You cannot be American and wear that mask.” In response, the woman rejected being labeled a Nazi. After patrons asked her to remove the mask she marched away and yelled, “F*** you.”

In her post about the incident, Mueller wrote “I was born and raised in Germany, and I grew up hearing about my great-grandmother who fought in the underground against the first wave of Nazis in the 1930s and 40s. Let me make this abundantly clear once and for all – THE SWASTIKA IS A HATE SYMBOL AND YOU DO NOT FLY THE FLAG, YOU DO NOT WEAR THE SYMBOL ANYWHERE ON YOUR BODY, YOU DO NOT USE OR DEFEND THIS SYMBOL, EVER. END OF STORY.”

Speaking to the Associated Press, Mueller went onto explain “I was speechless and shocked. I have heard of [things like this] happening in other places but I never thought I would see something like that.”

In response to the incident, police were called to the store and ultimately they served the couple with trespass notices on behalf of Walmart.

According to a Walmart spokesperson who talked to AP, the store offered the couple disposable face masks to change into but they both refused. Minnesota put into effect a mask mandate over the weekend that requires all customers at stores to wear masks.

“The incident is unacceptable, and the two customers involved were trespassed,” Walmart (who made masks mandatory for customers on July 20) said in a statement addressing the incident. “We will not tolerate any form of discrimination or harassment inside our stores.”

Soon after their interaction with the police, the man and woman were warned that they could be arrested if they decided to return to the store.
