There are a lot of reasons why it’s important to respect and love our planet. Besides the fact that it’s a home we share with our family members and friends, it’s also a place that belongs to so many beautiful creatures with family and friends of their own. This is a lesson that we have to do our best to teach others so that we can all actively work to save the earth.

Tepulpai is a 10-year-old boy in the new Netflix movie “Pachamama” who recently learns why it important to protect our planet too.

Tepulpai lives in a quiet village in the Andes Mountains of South America. He has big dreams of one day becoming a shaman or a healer, for his village. One day, when Tepulpai’s village is visited by a tax collector all of their crops are taken away. The tax collector also steals a small golden statue called Pachamama that brings them good fortune. To make things right, Tepulpai teams up with a girl named Naira and his pet llama to get the golden statue back.
