“This may be a lot of things, this moment we are living through,” Carlson said. “But it is definitely not about black lives, and remember that when they come for you. And at this rate, they will.”

In response, several companies have dropped their ads from Carlson’s show citing his inappropriate and offensive comments.

Walt Disney Company, Papa Johns, and T-Mobile have all distances themselves from Carlson.

Some of the ads, like those for Disney, were part of a third-party agency that buys ad space. Disney was called out for running 29 ads on the show last year. Disney has then addressed the controversy and ordered the agency to pull all ads from the show.

T-Mobile had already stopped working with “Tucker Carlson Tonight.”

The Black Lives Matter movement has become a global movement. Major brands have taken a stand to support the movement and the protesters demanding justice and police reform. Mike Sievert, the CEO, responded on Twitter with “Bye Bye Tucker” an echoed the companies intent to never work with the show again.

#IStandWithTuckerCarlson started to trend on Twitter and opinions came flooding in.

People want to see Carlson’s show ended because of his views and comments. There hasn’t been any signal from Fox that Carlson’s show was in trouble.
