The world is focused on the growing spread of COVID-19. More than 1,300,000 people have tested positive for the virus as of April 7. People around the world are raising money to fight the spread of the virus and some people are getting creative. Selena Gomez is using her new music to help raise money to fight against the global health pandemic.

Selena Gomez is using her new music to raise money for an organization fighting COVID-19.

The singer announced on Instagram that she was releasing her “Rare” deluxe album. In the same post, Gomez addressed the global health crisis that devastated countries and impacted musicians. She made a personal donation and has pledged to donate $1 from every item sold in her shop to PLUS1 COVID-19 Relief Fund. The fund is going to be helping musicians deal with the impact of COVID-19. The funds will go towards helping musicians with “medical expenses, lodging, clothing, food and other vital living expenses to those impacted due to sickness or loss of work.”

Jaime Camil is raising money to fight against the novel coronavirus.

Celebrities are stepping up and donating what they can to help fight this virus on several fronts. Lizzo is hosting meditation sessions on Instagram and Donatella Versace with her daughter donated €200,000 to a hospital in Milan. Camil is hoping that his partnership with Global Giving through Cameo helps others impacted by the virus.

For $100, you can request Camil to record a personalized message for you or someone you know.

Cameo is an app that connects fans with their favorite celebrities. For a price, people can have their favorite celebrities record video messages. Other celebrities on Cameo include model Aaron Diaz and “One Day at a Time” producer, writer, director, show-runner Gloria Calderon-Kellett.

Who wouldn’t enjoy a fun video from Rogelio de la Vega?

Rogelio de la Vega might be one of the most famous characters played by Camil. He quite possibly made “Jane the Virgin” the funny hit show we all love and remember. It’s even better because it is for a good cause.
