The TikTok user realized that the pizza delivery man was a good candidate for some help so he decided to do something to help him out. According to CNN, the octogenarian works 30 hours a week delivering pizzas for Papa Johns. The old man delivers the pizzas because he recently came to the realization that he cannot survive solely on his social security wages.

Valdez immediately turned to his followers to help raise the money needed to help the pizza man out.

Valdez knew that he had the kind of followers who would help him makes this man’s life a little easier. So, he turned to his followers and asked them to participate in a Venmo challenge to raise enough month to give this man some help.

And came through they did.

Valdez was able to raise more than $12,000 for the viejito to make sure that he had an easier life. After all, a man in his 80s should not have to work. This is the time that he is supposed to be enjoying his golden years doing what he wants when he wants.

They even included some merch in the gifts.

The shirt is a drawing of the pizza man holding open a pizza box. The words “Hellooo are you looking for some pizza?” are written inside the box. The shirt really excited him because, tbh, we all love to be seen in a drawing. It is so nice and personal.

But that check got him right in the feels.

That amount of money is life changing for anyone, but especially for someone on a very fixed income. Seeing his face when he realizes that the social media star brought him some serious money will make your heart melt. It is one of the most sincere moments on social media. Grab the tissues because you are going to cry.

Valdez is keeping his followers updated and it seems the pizza man is happy, beloved, and super into his shirt.

“This couldn’t have gone any better,” Valdez told KSL about the whole experience. “He needed this. I’m just glad we could help him. We just need to treat people with kindness and respect the way he does. He stole our hearts.”

When you normally think of a Catholic nun, images probably come to mind of a stern and serious older woman who is quick to scold. But this group of nuns on TikTok go against every one of those stereotypes.

The Daughters of Saint Paul has recently become a TikTok sensation because of their hilarious and playful viral videos.

The Boston-based convent has racked up almost 56k followers from just a handful of videos that they’ve posted to the popular social media platform. The sisters have only posted three videos, but they’ve already gotten over 965.k likes and 6 million views.

The sisters have posted videos of themselves dressed up as ghosts while wandering around the convent grounds, what they’ve dubbed the “Holy Ghost photo shoot”.

There is another surprisingly funny video of themselves recreating the internal struggle of resisting Satan. The video is captioned “Thinking about giving into temptation” and set to the TikTok favorite song “Is This Available”. More than anything, its the committed performances of the two nuns that elevate the video to hilarious levels.

And of course, the Daughters of Saint Paul also posted the “This or That challenge” set to the ’80s Run DMC classic “It’s Tricky”. In this one, a group of the nuns split off into different groups based on what they prefer. The categories are super specific: “Morning prayer” is pitted against “Evening prayer” and “rosary” is pitted against “divine mercy chaplet.”

The sisters seem to have struck a chord with viewers because the videos are wholesome, lighthearted, but most of all, unexpected.

The joy and playfulness of the Daughters of Saint Paul have made them bonafide celebrities of the TikTok world. Their comment section abounds with praise like “This is EVERYTHING–y’all are the best,” and “This is so wholesome I love it here.”

Commenters also refer to their account as “NunTok”. There are also people asking for the nuns to pray for specific issues in their lives–like conceiving a baby or passing a test. It truly is one of the oddest corners of the internet.

The account appears to be run by Sister Bethany, a young media-savvy nun who has her own popular TikTok page.

In one informative TikTok, Sister Bethany explains why this particular convent of nuns is so present on social media, saying that they are “media nuns” and they use their talents to create content for their faith. But they also have guidelines about what they post.

“We the sisters are always asking ourselves, ‘Is this a good use of time?’ ‘Am I putting out things that are good, true, and beautiful?’,” said Sister Bethany. “And those are things we can all ask ourselves. And those are the ways we moderate our social media use.” No matter your beliefs, that’s definitely some great advice!

The pandemic has dragged on for almost a year and it is getting very exhausting. However, that doesn’t mean you get to just break Covid guidelines. Gaysovercovid, an Instagram page, is exposing all of the gay men posting clear violations to Covid guidelines and it’s just so shameful.

GaysOverCovid is masterfully shaming gays who think they are above Covid guidelines.

Covid has killed more than 1,976,000 people around the world. The virus has forced governments into lockdowns to save lives. However, some people have continued to party and gather and travel with no regard for the consequences of their actions. Health officials have been urging people to avoid nonessential travel, not gather, and follow basic guidelines to keep people safe.

The account is exposing the white privilege and hypocrisy of some healthcare workers.

The vaccine is currently in circulation but the vaccine only prevents you from getting severely ill from the virus. You are still able to contract and spread the virus. The end of 2020 was a real booming moment for the Instagram page as gay men flocked in mass to Puerto Vallarta and Brazil to ring in the New Year while flouting life-saving Covid guidelines.

A lot of the men exposed quickly make their social media accounts private.

Maybe it is because they are embarrassed that they are part of the spread problem. Or maybe they are doing some soul searching after their actions. Most likely, they think that making their accounts private long enough will give everything time to blow over so they can act like normal members of society when we are finally through this hard time.

The Instagram page has even helped to expose underground parties.

Covid is still killing people. Los Angeles, where many of these gay men live, is among one of the worst outbreaks in the nation. It is so important that people keep doing their part and being responsible. We are nearing the end of Covid with vaccination plans rolling out across the nation. Be patient. be responsible. Wear a mask. Don’t travel. Avoid crowds. Do the right thing.
