Willi.M Blake is a multifaceted recording artist from Woodbridge, Virginia. He combines narrative, yet clever wordplay with a diverse selection of musical production. He has a genre-less, “no-box” approach to music creation which led to him founding the HashT.A.G. Society, or (T)he (A)nti (G)enre Society, an entertainment and recording label that doesn’t believe in playing by the same rules as everyone else. In the song “Villain”, Blake paints himself as the bad guy over moody, atmospheric production provided by TheBeatPlug. And in the video, he and a few others perform the rap lyrics, complimenting the song’s concept by donning bats and white masks.
