Conversations surrounding Deaf communities are frequently limited to Deaf versus hearing, limiting visibility into the intersecting identities of the Deaf. This lack of representation leads to further isolation for members of this community. Through his film, Topher hopes to spark conversations that will bring a greater voice and an accurate identity to those that so often go unheard.
