Literally perfect person Gina Torres has been cast to star in an upcoming ABC series from the executive producers of “Agent Carter.” It’ll be called “The Death of Eva Sofia Valdez” and it’s being touted as both the “Cuban Macbeth” and the story of  a “modern-day Havana-born Cleopatra.”

YES to all of it. Throw in a reference to “Latina Wonder Woman” and “the goddess-turned-“Firefly”actress Athena” and we’re all set.

Actually let’s just pause a moment and think about how wonderful Gina is:

Alright, back to the story.

Here are more details, via Deadline:

Written by Cuban-American playwright Charise Castro Smith, The Death Of Eva Sofia Valdez is described as a sexy revenge drama with a supernatural twist and MacBeth with a Cuban twist. It centers on Eva Sofia Valdez (Torres), an immigrant who rose from rags to riches and is a celebrated Miami entrepreneur and a champion for immigrant rights. But the success of this “modern-day Havana-born Cleopatra” is fueled by an insatiable ambition that could destroy her family, a vendetta against the lover who betrayed her, and ghosts from the past who threaten to reveal the dark sacrifices Eva Sofia made to attain the American Dream.

The fact that it stars a Cuban-American playing a Cuban is pretty notable on its own, but we’re also excited that it’s written by a Cuban, too. It’s a pretty big deal! After all, any change starts behind the camera.

Just for kicks, here’s one more Perfect And Essential Gina Moment™, because we all deserve it:
