It looks like Sasha Obama is living her best life and we couldn’t be happier for her. The former first daughter began trending on Twitter recently when a jaw-dropping photo of her went viral.
The Twitter account @MEFeater tweeted out a photo of Sasha Obama wearing an outfit that is incredibly similar to Normani’s “Motivation” get-up.
The photo showed a young woman who appears to be Sasha Obama (although some people are insisting it’s simply a look-alike) wearing an air-brushed white crop top with a belly chain and pink bikini bottoms. Not only that, but she had a gorgeous blue acrylic manicure, a puka shell necklace, and a rather surprising rib tattoo. And the young lady’s face was beat to the gods.
The account captioned the photo: “Sasha Obama is GIVING honey!” and the internet went wild.
The tweet racked up over 150,000 likes and over 14,000 comments. While most of the comments were positive, of course there was the random “Why does she look so cheap” and “Here in lies the epitome of daddy issues”. The smattering of haters left many people raring to defend their golden girl.
People soon jumped to Sasha’s defense, writing out tweets like “y’all better keep it cute in these comments because i want everything behind sasha. she is a 19 year old woman living her life,” and “the make up, the tattoo, the outfit. ms Sasha is givingggggg”.
Even celebrities like Jameela Jamila joined the fray, tweeting out: “Oh shut up about Sasha Obama, she’s young, free and harming nobody. Stop acting like it’s the President of The United States doing this. Which even if they did would still hurt nobody. She looks happy and she deserves to grow up expressing herself and having fun.”
The bottom line is Sasha Obama is a 19-year-old girl who is acting like a normal 19-year-old girl.
Not only is Sasha Obama a college student who deserves to experiment with her look, but she is also a private citizen and who should be treated as such. Let the girl have some privacy without being judged by the entire world!
Sasha Obama previously went viral just a few weeks ago for doing another thing that normal teens do: make TikToks with their friends. Back then, people were surprised that the teen was making an appearance on TikTok considering how high-profile her father is. But honestly, we love to see it. We’re glad Sasha Obama is coming into her own and having fun while doing it.
