Donald Trump’s Doppelgänger Is A Spanish Potato Farmer
According to ancient folklore, everyone has a doppelgänger (or a biologically unrelated look-alike) walking around somewhere in the world. It turns out, even Donald Trump has one in an unlikely equivalent living in rural Spain.
Dolores Leis Antelo is a woman living on a farm in Cabana de Bergantiños who has gained international attention after a photograph of her taken by journalist Paula Vázquez went viral. The picture in question sees her looking out over her farm while looking exactly like Donald Trump.
Hair and all.
Dolores became famous two years ago after Vázquez shared a photo of her on Instagram.
“Dolores was going to her farm to pick some cabbages,” Vasquez explained in an interview with the Spanish-language publication Faro de Vigo. “So I talked with her for a while, while a girlfriend was taking pictures of her, and I took the opportunity to take another photo with my cellphone.
Vasquez posted the photo on Instagram, not at all noticing Antelo’s resemblance to the president of the United States. It didn’t take long for other people to though and within days the photo went viral. It was liked being over 8,000 times and shared on other platforms over 4,700 times.
Speaking about her viral fame, Dolores says she thinks the resemblance is all about hair.
Speaking to La Voz de Galicia, Dolores said “My photo seems to have traveled far. I say it is because of the color of my hair.” According to Vasquez Dolores was “charmed” to learn that she looked like Trump. and that her friends call her Donald Trump’s cousin.
