We’ve Never Heard Drácula Like This, and We Can’t Stop Listening
If you thought you knew the story of Drácula, think again. Bram Stoker’s gothic tale has risen just in time for Halloween as an Audible Original in Latin American Spanish, featuring José María de Tavira as Count Drácula and Esmeralda Pimentel as Mina.
Some stories never lose their bite, and this full-cast production hooks you with its immersive cinematic design, making you feel like you’re in Transylvania.

A classic reimagined for audiobook lovers
Latinos love a juicy psychological thriller, and this Audible Original of Bram Stoker’s Drácula is the stuff of telenovelas.
When her fiancé vanishes in Transylvania, Mina Harker starts investigating his disappearance by collecting letters, diary entries, and chilling testimony to hunt the predator stalking the people she loves. It all takes a turn when she discovers he’s already hunting her.
Now, Mina joins Professor Van Helsing and a fearless band of vampire hunters to stop the Count’s terror. As the Count haunts Mina’s dreams, can they use the clues they have to hunt him down?

Dracúla emerges from the shadows—and whispers in Spanish
Designed to be heard, the Latin American Spanish production stars Mexican actor José María de Tavira as Drácula, Esmeralda Pimentel as Mina, and a full ensemble cast. It also features a haunting original score by Ilan Eshkeri (Audible’s 1984).
The production is directed by Mary Lambert, the filmmaker behind the horror cult classic, Pet Sematary, for Audible. This is her audiobook directorial debut, based on Robyn Ahern’s adaptation.
Every whisper, scream, and silence in this production was designed to pull you deeper into the story from the moment you press play.
Audible and mitú’s Drácula After Dark brought Transylvania to Miami
We couldn’t keep this story confined to our headphones, so we threw open the coffin lid and invited everyone to the vampire’s lair for Dracula After Dark. On October 20, we partnered with Audible to transform Casa D’Miami into a candlelit lair with coffins, themed cocktails, and cultura.

Over 300 guests answered the call to sink their teeth into this immersive experience, including creators, actors, and influencers. Guests didn’t just hear about the dark side; they lived it, with a coffin-themed photo booth and temporary tattoo stations with headphones that played the track while they got their bite marks inked.
Of course, we couldn’t throw a party without music, which the Latin GRAMMY-studded collective DSCNTRL made sure to bring. The Miami-based DJ kept the dance floor alive.
