You might remember Sofia Jirau from a few months ago. The Boricua beauty stunned and captivated audiences when she took to the catwalk at New York Fashion Week this year. Yep, probably feels like forever ago considering all of the big fashion events that have been canceled recently. Still, while the Jirau’s big Fashion Week debut might seem eons behind us, there’s no denying that her star is still rocketing and that she is continuing to capture the spotlight.

That’s why, when we noticed the model’s latest post on Instagram, we almost tripped ourselves. Particularly because the blonde beauty just gave us a pretty amazing beauty tip to try out while we’re in quarantine.

In a recent post to her Instagram account, Jirau revealed her go-to hair care products.

“For girls who like roses like me, they know I love the Pantene Rose Water collection. It is one of the products that I use because it hydrates my hair and leaves it very soft, in addition, I love how it smells. This is the new package. If you haven’t tried it, just do it!” Jirau wrote in a post to her Instagram account.

Jirau finished off the post with hashtags “#rosewater #sulfatefree #pantenepr #P&G Partner #ad” and tbh we’ve never been more excited or proud to see an Instagram ad.

The world of fashion is notoriously a parade of homogeneity. While certain brands make valiant attempts to diversify the faces and designs that represent their lines, it’s true that there is a world of progress to be made. Which leads us to our praise and worship for Sofía Jirau.

Sofia Jirau is a 22-year-old Puerto Rican model with Down Syndrome.

She is, to say the least, a true jefa whose recent appearance on the runway at a New York Fashion Week show is undoubtedly a game-changer. While walking the runway this past week, the model lived out her dream of not only modeling in New York but also shaking up its fashion scene.

“When I was little, I looked myself in the mirror and said, ‘I’m going to be a model and a businesswoman,’” Jirau told People in a recent interview.

And just look at her now.
