In a new video posted to the official LA Dodgers Instagram account, pitcher Shelby Miller got a tattoo while answering questions about his life and career.

In the video, Miller talks about how he can’t stop listening to Peso Pluma‘s “Ella Baila Sola” after his teammates said they shared a resemblance. He even walks out to the song now during games. Thanks to this new interview, we know more about why Miller loves the song and how the comparison to the Mexican singer came to be.

Shelby Miller’s Teammates are to blame for his love of Peso Pluma

In the video, Miller talks about his favorite tattoo, his most painful tattoo and the teammate he would trust to tattoo something on him. However, the conversation moves to one of his favorite songs: “Ella Baila Sola” by Peso Pluma.

“I’ve been listening to that a lot,” Miller said in the video. “I don’t know what they’re saying but I jam it.” He said most of his Latino teammates call him Peso Pluma now because they look alike. Here’s a picture of Miller:

There is a bit of a resemblance! And fans agree, judging by the comments on the video. We’d be in business if only Miller rocked a mullet with bangs. For now, however, playing Peso Pluma as his walkout music is a good start.

Apparently, the whole thing started because Junior, the team’s barber, said he should lean into it and use “Ella Baila Sola” as his walkout song. The rest, as they say, is history.

“If he comes, I gotta meet him,” Miller said in the video. “It’d be really cool to meet him if we could get him to the stadium.”

Social media seems to agree about the Peso Pluma resemblance

Although Miller talks about specific tattoos that are meaningful to him, many people couldn’t stop thinking about the look-a-like debacle.

It took some Dodgers fans a while to see it, but the resemblance is definitely there, according to them.

Others pointed out how one of the “whitest [dudes] on the planet” is warming up to Doble P’s music.

One person said the LA Dodgers know exactly who their audience is.

Fans should also get used to hearing “Ella Baila Sola” whenever Miller walks out. He doesn’t plan on stopping anytime soon.

For some, this development is still a bit too much to believe.
