Renata Notni, one of Mexico’s best-loved actresses, made a stunning debut at the 76th edition of the Cannes Film Festival.

Dressed in Old Hollywood glamour in a black Armani Prive strapless gown with a plunging V-neck line and fabulous Bulgari jewels, she represented all Mexican women.

While other Latina actresses like Eva Longoria, wearing an intricate Elie Saab gown, also graced the “Old Oak” film’s red carpet last week, all eyes were on Notni’s classic elegance.

As the Loreal Paris ambassador at Cannes, Notni brought elegant sophistication to the red carpet. She has perfected the style in various campaigns for the beauty brand in her native Mexico. The most recent one — changing her hair color for the first time.

Honoring the Great Latinas of Cinema

Renata Notni’s look was reminiscent of gorgeous Mexican Hollywood icon Dolores del Rio and Mexican diva Maria Felix. They both surely would have adored the Serpentine Collection jeweled choker.

“I am getting ready for my first red carpet in Cannes. The first of many, I hope,” Notni said, crossing her fingers, to VogueMexico in a “get ready with me” video.

“For me, to be here as the image of Loreal in Mexico makes me feel very proud. I imagine standing there and representing all the women in Mexico. And it gives me great pleasure and makes me very emotional,” she said to Vogue.

The makeup (L’Oreal Paris) was also crucial for a clean and natural look. It framed Renata’s beautiful face and brought out the crisp green of her eyes with earthy brown shadow tones.

The look was finished off with flesh-toned lipstick.

An iconic moment for Renata Notni

Notni’s hair was combed back in the wet trend and fell off her shoulders. Simple and sleek, it complemented the classic lines of the Armani gown.

“It wasn’t until I got to the red carpet that I realized I was there,” she told “Quien” magazine after the event. “I lived it to the fullest and thought how fortunate I was to be representing Mexico,” she said.

Renata Notni, star of “Codigo Postal,” “La Rosa de Guadalupe,” and Netflix’s “La Venganza de las Juanas,” was named Top 100 Latina Powerhouse in 2022 by HOLA Magazine.

She will soon feature in the Amazon Prime Video remake of “Zorro” alongside “Elite” star Miguel Bernardeau. It’s a retelling of the classic story with a modern twist. Renata will play Lolita Marquez, and Bernardeau will be Diego de la Vega.

We look forward to Notni’s future red carpets — and know she will conquer them all.
