‘Wild Thoughts’ Is The Sultry Caribbean Music Video You’ve Been Dreaming About

This gorgeous music video for “Wild Thoughts,” from DJ Khaled’s forthcoming album “Grateful,” was shot in Belize with Rihanna and a supporting role from R&B singer Bryston Tiller. The trio cruises the streets of Belize in the most Caribbean of outfits: Rihanna sports several NSFW off-the-shoulder numbers resembling that old-timey Caribbean look, while DJ Khaled wore floral print and does a discombobulated salsa. The song itself features a sample from Carlos Santana’s 1999 number one hit “Maria Maria.” The whole video blends perfectly, culminating in the trio on a rooftop as fireworks go off.

His rhythm is a little bit off, but he’s got the right spirit and outfit, so you can’t hate on the dude, not even a little bit.

This Twitter user peeped the game too.

“@Djkhaled is the only person who can have terrible dance moves and get away with it” said @_justin14.

After Belize nicknamed an island after DJ Khaled, you know he had to go and shoot there.

The Belize Tourism Board nicknamed an island “Major Caye” back in March of 2016 after DJ Khaled, so it only seemed right for him to go there and catch a vibe with this video.

Rihanna really went for that Caribbean look.

With her off-the-shoulder top, floral head wrap and enormous door knocker earrings, she fits right in with the Belize locals. Not that it’s hard for the Rihanna — she is from Barbados after all — but she pulls it off so well.

Get ready to hear a lot more of the song.

People are already hailing it as the song of the summer, so listen sparingly, because it’s a banger that you don’t want to get played out. The original “Maria Maria” made it to the #1 spot on Billboard and stayed there for 10 weeks.

Let’s see if DJ Khaled, Rihanna and Tiller can top that.

These Terrifying Spongebob Images Went Viral And Now The Internet Is Too Scared To Sleep

Graphic artist and student Miguel Vasquez had the Internet freaking out this week after he posted these lifelike images of everyone’s favorite underwater homies, Spongebob Squarepants and his best bud, Patrick Star. But hold on to your seats, kids, because your childhoods are going bye-bye.

The self-taught 3D animator from Ontario, California told mitú he’s always been obsessed with human versions of his favorite animated characters.

“Well, I have always been a fan of popular character renditions. Ever since high school I would find myself searching up images on Google of “real life Homer Simpson” or “Spongebob human form.” I have a fascination with alternative forms of popular characters. So I learned about 3D character design towards the end of high school and from there on I managed to make my own take of Spongebob and Patrick and soon to be the whole cast of Spongebob!”

You hear that kids? He’s working on bringing the whole cast to life! I wonder what Plankton, Sandy and Mr. Krabs will look like in your nightmares?

If the rest of the Bikini Bottom residents look anything like this image of Patrick, you may never sleep again.

Do you even lift bro?!

Spongebob’s smile is normally infectious, but Vasquez’s version might give you an infection.

This version of Spongebob is staring into your soul and has a sneeze or two up his sleeves.

After being posted on Reddit, the images quickly made their way to Twitter where people appropriately flipped out.

Upon seeing the images, this Twitter user said “nope” and buried themselves under the sand.

Some argued that there were already live versions of Spongebob and Patrick.

Although closer to the original, these leave out the part where the new images are horrifying.

So as much as you’re used to your best underwater pals being cute and cheerful, like these guys…

Vasquez also said, “My hope in the future is to become a 3D character artist in both the film and video game industry,” he said. “I’m still learning, but I’m better than I was a year ago!”

On being a Latino artist in the 3D world, Vasquez told us:

“Personally, I don’t think it makes a difference to be a Latino artist. There are ton of Latino artists in the film and video game industry who have made a name for themselves. It doesn’t matter what background you come from as long your work speaks for itself. Studios will hire you regardless of how you look. How do I know? Well, because I’ve personally met minorities such as myself at conventions who have worked on films like “Transformers” and video games like “Uncharted 4.”

We have no doubt he’s going to be successful — he’d already given night terrors to all of us who grew up on The Sponge.
