The Only Honest Thing About Donald Trump’s Lies About 9/11 Are These Honest-To-God Hilarious Memes

Donald Trump has made over 10,796 false and misleading claims since he took on the Oval Office, according to the Washington Post. Most recently, he claimed he was on the ground with first responders after 9/11 happened.

But people were quick to call him out on yet another elaborate lie.

Recently, President Donald Trump came up with another sickening falsehood.

On Monday, Trump stood before a group of 9/11 responders to sign the hard-fought-for-bill into law, that would extend funding for the 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund (VCF) for another seven decades and he also lied to their face while he was at it.

“Many of those affected were fighters, police officers and other first responders,” Trump said. “And I was down there also, but I’m not considering myself a first responder. But I was down there. I spent a lot of time down there with you.”

But there’s simply no evidence to prove that this is true.

So what was meant to be a time to honor 9/11 first responders and survivors of the terrorist attack, turned out to be just another chance for Trump to make it about himself.

The bill, titled “Never Forget the Heroes: James Zadroga, Ray Pfeifer, and Luiz Alvarez Permanent Authorization of the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund Act,” will provide money for the VCF which helps with financial support for 9/11 responders, survivors, and their families.

According to People magazine, Trump has a thing for bringing up the 9/11 attacks. He even once said that one of his buildings became New York City’s tallest after the World Trade Center towers collapsed. But that’s not true. By now, it’s clear that Trump will never stop making baseless claims.

Even those who attended the event meant to honor 9/11 first responders called Trump out on his blatant lie saying they “never witnessed” him at ground zero.

A retired New York Fire Department deputy chief told the New York Times he didn’t recall seeing him there and that Trump “was a private citizen at the time [of the attacks]. I don’t know what kind of role he could have possibly played.”  One White House reporter even tweeted, “Being down there surveying the damage is also not the same as standing on that pile of debris, as first responders who got sick did, day after day.”

Quickly, Trump’s latest delusion comments sparkled the viral meme #LostTrumpHistory.

The trend reportedly launched thanks to @JoJoFromJerz‘s initial tweet where she shared the fabricated accomplishment that Trump was the first aviator to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean.

After that, users began sharing their #LostTrumpHistory tweets. And trust us, they’re all true.

(Dear god, we hope you detected our sarcasm.)

Trump was part of the original Mount Rushmore. To whoever believes otherwise, open your eyes. Real eyes. Realize. Real lies.

Trump was also at Jesus’ birth.

And he was eating a hamburger. Is it In-N-Out though?

Trump was also the first American hero to scale Mount Everest.

Like, what are we doing with our life huh? We should be out there climbing Mount Fuji.

Trump also hosted the Last Supper and it was all-inclusive.

Just kidding, he made Jesus pay for it.

Someone made the joke Trump actually built the Great Wall of China and made Mexico pay for it.

Where do people come up with this?

Just like Trump was there as a “first responder” during 9/11, he also landed on the moon. It’s true, I mean, look at the photo! It doesn’t look photoshopped at all.

Who would’ve known that Trump could travel through space and time, eh?

We stan a multitasking president. Sike.

There are way too many good #LostTrumpHistory memes to share, but you get the point.

Like we mentioned previously, this isn’t the first time Trump has made these baseless claims about what he’s done and where’s he’s been in the past. During his presidential campaign trail in 2016, he said during a rally that on September 11, he “helped a little bit” with clearing the rubble. But there’s just no evidence to prove this.

He also reportedly said during a 2015 rally that he watched the September 11th attacks from a window in Trump Tower. Again, the statement was a lie.

Come on, Mr. President, can you just go on one day without lying?
