Things Got Weird AF When Zoe Saldana Met Her Wax Sculpture

Zoe Saldana, the actress best known for her roles in science fiction films like “Avatar,” the “Star Trek” film series reboot, and in her most recent role as space assassin Gamora in the “Guardians Of The Galaxy” series. With “Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2” set to drop this May, and the Avatar sequel beginning production in the fall, you can say Zoe is having a huge year.

But, something much more important than making billion dollar films happened, and cameras were on hand to capture it.

This week Zoe Saldana was immortalized in wax in Madame Tussauds’ Wax Museum.

Saldana’s mamá y abuela were in attendance to show support and take photos with Zoe and her doppelgänger.

Although she said she was “humbled,” her thank you seemed over the top, like when you get a gift you don’t like, but have to appreciate it anyway.

She also said it was like “checking something off your big bucket list.”

The actress posed with herself in what appears to be an eerily uncomfortable life moment.

Saldana: “Hey, statue, don’t be nervous, I know it’s your first time. Just smile and relax. (quietly) I love you.”

Stranger still her husband kissed the wax figurine while she looked on in faux-shock.

In the museum they tell you not to touch the wax figurines, so these two are breaking all the rules.

All in all, it sounds like she was happy and honored to be included in the strange event.

The best love, after all, is self love. But, still, please, get a room Zoes.
