Everybody loves a new celebrity couple, even if it’s just an onscreen romance or social media flirtation. The latest dream couple fans are demanding is Gina Rodriguez and Tessa Thompson. The “Annihilation” costars were featured in a couple of selfies posted by Rodriguez and the two already seem to have a lot of chemistry between the two of them. Gina Rodriguez recently posted selfies of herself, Pedro Pascal, and Tessa Thompson for Thompson’s birthday.@HereIsGina / Twitter
Just a short, simple, sweet message wishing a coworker a happy birthday. Nothing to see here, right?
Then, one fan cropped Pascal out of the photos and a fantasy ‘ship was born.

It’s just beautiful, really.
Someone suggested that Emmy-winning writer Lean Waithe get involved to make it happen.
It would only be right for @LenaWaithe to write this
— Siddharth Shiva (@SiddharthShiva) October 5, 2017
Waithe made history at this year’s Emmy awards when she became the first African-American woman to win for Outstanding Writing in a Comedy Series for her work on “Master of None.”
Waithe responded, saying she is down.
I mean… those are my boos so that’s easy.

Hear that? That’s the sound of hearts around the world skipping a beat.
