This Is What Juan Gabriel’s Family Thinks About The Conspiracy Theory That The ‘Divo’ Is Still Alive

Since the death of Juan Gabriel, rumors and conspiracy theories have taken over the Internet.

Today, his family and lawyer came forward to address this rumor started by Juan Gabriel’s ex-manager and the legal situation around the singer’s living will and testament.

The family of the late and beloved Juan Gabriel held a press conference today in Miami to discuss the rumors.

At the press conference, lawyers confirmed they are now going after the singer’s ex-manager who started all the craziness by asserting that the singer was actually alive. They threatened several legal consequences for the ex-manager, Joaquín Muñoz.

Through their lawyer, the family dispelled the rumor that ‘Divo’ lives.

Joaquín Muñoz, the ex-manager, started the shocking conspiracy theory that ‘’Divo de Juárez’ did not die on August 28, 2016.

The singer died in Los Angeles and at today’s press conference, a lawyer for the family said that the cremation was carried out in Los Angeles and that “there is no doubt that Juan Gabriel is dead.”

Also addressed at the press conference was the unresolved matter of the singer’s living will and testament.

During the meeting with the media, the family’s attorney confirmed that Iván Aguilera, son of the singer, is the universal heir.

But what all of this seems to have done is just fuel the conspiracy theory.

Parents and abuelas everywhere have long insisted there was truth to the ex-manager’s claim. WIll today’s press conference help put some of that to rest?

Like literally since his death many have been asking the question:

And according to most users on Twitter today, this press conference isn’t likely to make a difference in the minds of hardcore believers.

As one person pointed out, this issue has been consuming families since news broke that ‘Divo’ had died!

I don’t know about you but before the ex-manager made the baseless claims, I knew of families having giant arguments over his death. It was all-consuming.

Like I’m pretty sure we all have that one tia who believes all the chisme she hears about him.

I’m pretty sure I actually heard my abuela actually tell my mom this exact same rumor. What I want to know is who is starting these things?

Some have even reported Juan Gabriel sightings around the world, including this person in Dallas.

But let’s be clear, this isn’t possible. Unfortunately, Juan Gabriel definitely died in 2016 and isn’t driving for Lyft in Texas.

While quite a few people didn’t even realize there was an entire conspiracy surrounding the singer’s tragic death.

I wish we are all this lucky to not even be aware of this bogus conspiracy theory.

Some are hoping the whole conspiracy comes to an end so that el ‘Divo de Juarez’ can finally rest in peace.

The man brought us years and years worth of incredible music and talent, it’s truly time to put this wild rumor to bed and let the man finally RIP.

While others point out the conspiracy may be true, just not the way we think:

Translation: “He is alive in our hearts.”

We couldn’t agree more. Juan Gabriel will forever live in our hearts, bodas, quineañeras, and so much more.
