Jessica Alba’s Face Says ‘Don’t Quit Your Day Job’ When Jimmy Fallon Pitches Her Ideas For Her New Show ‘Planet Of The Apps’
“How exciting is an escalator? It should be like a skydiving pitch, that’s exciting. AH, I’VE GOT THIS GREAT IDEA.”
On a recent episode of “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon,” movie star and entrepreneur Jessica Alba was on to promote her new show, “Planet of the Apps.” The show revolves around the idea of young app developers pitching their ideas for the next big app, with judges Gwyneth Paltrow, Gary Vaynerchuk, and will.i.am, deciding on whether or not the apps are good ideas. They’ll also decide if the developers will get the funding they need to make the app a reality. It’s pretty interesting idea, and, yes, it sounds a lot like Shark Tank, but the difference here is the contestants have 60 seconds to pitch their ideas while on a moving escalator (which really just looks like an inclined moving walkway at an airport).
Later in the show, Fallon pitched Alba on what her future child’s name should be.
Now this idea should be made into a show. The pitch: Jimmy Fallon picks your baby’s name and they have to live with it for the rest of their lives. Will they become successful? Will they just get picked on in school? Stay tuned to find out!
