A Band Is Already Claiming That Fifth Harmony Ripped Of Their Song For Their New Single ‘Down’
Their first post-Camila single is blowing up.
Fifth Harmony has just dropped their first single since Camila Cabello left the group and it is blowing up. The song, called “Down,” features Gucci Mane and the beat is sick af. It was released at midnight on June 2 and in less than 24 hours, the song made it to the top 10 of the iTunes charts. But it didn’t come without some drama. Just a couple of hours before “Down” was released, the band Terror Jr. accused Fifth Harmony of ripping off their song “Come First.” Of course their tweet digressed into two sides arguing the merit of Terror Jr.’s accusation.
Fifth Harmony has released their first single since Camila Cabello split with the group back in December.

And, yes, they already sang it live on “Good Morning America” to a very enthusiastic crowd.
It is already in the top three of the U.S. iTunes charts.

It took them just 6 hours to reach the top of the iTunes chart. Dayyuumm.
Harmonizers came out in full force to celebrate their group doing their thing despite all the haters.

Not to mention that the single was released one day after Cabello’s new single, “Know No Better,” with Major Lazer, Travis Scott, and Quavo.
Some people on Twitter are already trying to stir up some beef between Harmonizers and Cabello fans.

Can’t we just enjoy both of these songs without having to pit them against each other?
People are already so hyped over this song that they are calling it a “summer smash.”
All Fifth Harmony need is a bomb video for "Down" and they're all set for a summer smash. Just DANCE DOWN, have looks and scenery ??

But, during all the celebration, one band, Terror Jr., accused Fifth Harmony of ripping them off.
ur . . favorite . . pop . . star . . just . . ripped . . us . . off . . because . . they . . are . . goldfish . . & . . we . . are . . not

It seems that Terror Jr. is claiming that “Down” is a rip off of their single “Come First.” Fans of Terror Jr. are arguing that the beat, melody, and cadence of the words are too similar to be a mistake.
Of course, Harmonizers have come out to defend their group.
That song does not sound like #DOWN lol I just listened whatta REACH

And a few fans have responded to the tweet calling Terror Jr. desperate for attention by any means necessary.
And those who support Terror Jr. are sharing this video that compares the chorus of both songs.
