People On The Internet Are Talking About Their Elementary School Days, And It’s Super Nostalgic
In elementary school our biggest worries were trying to win a game of foursquare or trying to be first in line to get appointed as the hall monitor. But there’s so much more we miss about elementary school…
Life was all fun and games in elementary school.
I miss playing dodgeball and freeze tag in elementary school! ???

And our biggest concern was trying to get a ball to play with before they all ran out.
And lunchtime cuisine was even better because of these little chocolate milk baggies:
Now chocolate milk is a luxury.
When it was time to be inside the classroom, 90% of the day consisted of crafting.
So any crafting abilities you have, you owe to elementary school.
And this was the only time group projects were fun.
Elementary school was basically the only time you felt appreciated for all of your work.
Awards for dayyyys.
The same went for Valentine’s Day. No one was ever left out.
Everyone felt so loved.
And elementary school crushes were the cutest.
They gave you diary content for days.
The only material things we were obsessed over were these Scholastic Books:

Book fairs were everyyyythinnng. ??
And these super cool flexible pencils:
They actually made us want to do homework.
Of course, the thing everyone misses the most are those thee-month long vacations we used to get every summer.
Extraño esos 3 meses de vacaciones de cuando iba a la primaria

Now we’re lucky to even get THREE DAYS of vacation.
To be honest, nothing really compares to those stress-free elementary school days…
Extraño mis días en la primaria, cuando lo único que perdía eran mis moños y no la dignidad viendo si estas online y no me hablas?

When the only thing you had to worry about was possibly losing your hair ribbons at school (and mom would freak out the way she does now when you lose her Tupperware) – not worrying about losing your dignity after being left on read.
*Sigh*…now all we can do is reminisce.
Can we just go back to elementary school please. ?
