dog eating man Mexico video Genitals Of Accused Rapist In Mexico City
A disturbing video is making the rounds on social media and Whatsapp showing a pit bull mutilating an accused rapist. According to reports, a group of men from a Mexican gang captured the accused rapist and used a cruel and unusual punishment. The gang sought street justice using a pit bull to attack the man they captured.
A video is making its way around the internet that shows a man being attacked by a pit bull in Mexico.
According to Daily Mail, the man, in his 30s, was accused of raping a woman in Mexico City. As punishment, a group of men from a Mexican gang handcuffed the man, held him down, and let a pit bull loose to attack him as he cried out for help.
Local media is reporting that Mexican gangs are upping the cruelty in their street justice punishments.
Some people on social media are more angered with the treatment of the dog over the attack on the man. Some suspect that the dogs are used as fighting dogs, a practice where dogs are trained to fight each other as people bet on the outcome.
The pit bull attacked the man’s genitalia. News outlets have reported that the dog ate the man’s penis and testicles as he cried out, “No. Please leave me. Leave me.”
It is not known if the person in the video survived the attack.
In the graphic video, you can see one of the men gag the naked man to silence his screams for help. According to Daily Mail, the attackers made the video public as a warning the other men accused of raping women in Mexico’s capital city.
Experts on animal behavior have long advised people that the aggression shown by dogs is more commonly linked to poor training and learned aggression.
“Some pit bulls were selected and bred for their fighting ability. That means that they may be more likely than other breeds to fight with dogs. It doesn’t mean that they can’t be around other dogs or that they’re unpredictably aggressive,” reads a statement about pit bulls by the ASPCA. “Other pit bulls were specifically bred for work and companionship. These dogs have long been popular family pets, noted for their gentleness, affection and loyalty. And even those pit bulls bred to fight other animals were not prone to aggressiveness toward people. Dogs used for fighting needed to be routinely handled by people; therefore aggression toward people was not tolerated. Any dog that behaved aggressively toward a person was culled, or killed, to avoid passing on such an undesirable trait.”
Rape is a major problem throughout Mexico and the citizens are taking a stand to stop it.
Mexico’s current rape statistics state that 13 in every 100,000 people are raped, however, the number is likely higher due to unreported attacks. The rapes, as shown in the graph above, show that women are far more likely to be raped than men in the country.
Last month, hundreds of women took to the street in Mexico City to protest the persisting rape culture and femicides that are commonplace.
The protests were in response to the allegation of Mexican police officers raping teenage girls. One 17-year-old girl accused four police officers of raping her in their patrol car. A 16-year-old girl came forward around the same time accusing a police officer of raping her in a museum.
Women and men in Mexico are raising their voices against the alleged corruption among Mexican authorities in the time of accountability.
The #MeToo movement has made its way to Mexico and people are coming together around #YoSiTeCreo (#YesIBeliveYou).
