Everyone, Welcome ‘Kidz Bop Karen’ The Road Raging Mom Who Doesn’t Want To ‘Calm Down’

Kidz Bop Karen, so named after she claimed that her children could not hear her words of vitriol during her heated confrontation because they were listening to Kidz Bop, has been added to the Camera Meltdown Canon of which  “Permit Patty” and “Barbecue Betty” are members.

KAREN YOU NEED TO CALM DOWN.

A post shared by chelsea (@chelbk) on

According to NBC News, Klein had in a Lyft and looking at her phone while driving down New York City’s West Side Highway when the incident occurred. She was unaware as to whether or not her drive had cut off the unidentified woman known to the internet as Kidz Bop Karen. However, she did notice the woman giving her driver and herself the bird. This was when Klein decided to give the woman a thumbs up. When the two cars finally came to a stop at a light, Kidz Bop Karen stormed over to Klein’s Lyft vehicle and hit the passenger side woman. Klein says, the altercation made her feel uncomfortable and unsure for her safety, so she began to record.

“I honestly started filming because I was scared she was going to jump in the car,” Klein told NBC News. “The look in her eyes was scary and road rage is kind of scary. I was scared for sure.”

In Klein’s video of the heated exchange, Kidz Bop Karen can be seen leaning into the Lyft driver’s front passenger window and yelling at Klein.

In the video, the Lyft driver seems to calm the situation by conceding that it was his fault. “I’m sorry. I’m really sorry. It’s my fault.” Still, Kidz Bop Karen continued to rage, sticking her tongue out at Klein and staring back at her wide-eyed.

“She thinks it’s cute that her driver almost hit my kids, and she thinks she needs to take a video of it instead of apologizing,” Kidz Bop Karen sparks sarcastically in the video.

Klein can be heard asking the Kidz Bop Karen if standing in the middle of the road helps the situation.

“You being a b—- is going to help?” Klein snapped back before yelling “I don’t know? Calm down! Calm down!”

As the driver once again makes an attempt to defuse the situation by apologizing, Kidz Bop Karen continues her rampage.

“It is your fault,” she tells the driver before whirling around and facing Klein. “And you know, that didn’t upset me, but the b—- a– h– that told me to calm down? What I’d like you to do is apologize instead of being a b—-.”

Klein attempts to apologize before reminding the woman that her children could  hear her calling her a “b—- a– h–.”  Klein told NBC that from her seat she make out an adult and older child in the woman’s card. Kleins says the child looked to be crying.

In response, Kidz Bop Karen barks back with the ultimate line that has garnered her fame.

“My kids can’t hear me calling you a b—- … they can’t hear me because they’re listening to ‘Kidz Bop.'”

Before the video ends, and Klein and her driver drove off, Kidz Bop Karen told Klein that her “attitude sucks d—.”

Soon after capturing the moment, Klein says she shared the altercation with the site Barstool Sports, and it didn’t take long for the video to go viral. As of now, the original video has 16 million views on Twitter. While Kidz Bop Karen has remained unidentified, she did speak to TMZ and says that she’s bothered by being labeled a Republican because of the video. According to TMZ, Kidz Bop Karen has said that she feels her “her behavior is fair game for trolls because she acted like this in public.” She apparently has also said that she does not hold any animosity towards Klein  who filmed her rant and would like to apologize.

Speaking to NBC, a Lyft spokesperson released a statement in response to the incident saying: “The safety of our community is fundamental to Lyft. We have reached out to the rider and driver involved in this incident and stand ready to support any investigation.”

For those interested, Kidz Bop Karen told TMZ that the Kidz Bops tune that her kids were listening to was “Old Town Road.”

The First Presidential Debate Went Off The Rails Fast And The Internet Had Fun With It

President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden had their first presidential debate and things were wild. President Trump spent most of the debate talking over Biden while moderator Chris Wallace did everything in his power to rein in the president. Of course, Americans on social media had a lot to say.

The first presidential debate was a far cry from the presidential debates of the past.

Political pundits have spent the past 24 hours discussing how the presidential debate on Sept. 29 veered far from past norms. The two campaigns had agreed to terms before the debate, including two minutes to respond to question uninterrupted. However, as the moderator, Chris Wallace, eventually said to the nominees, President Trump made quick work of ignoring that rule.

“The country would be better served if we allowed both people to speak with fewer interruptions,” Wallace said to President Trump. “I’m appealing to you, sir, to do it.”

“And him, too?” President Trump retorted.

“Well, frankly, you’ve been doing more interrupting,” Wallace corrected the president.

Debate viewers quickly took to social media to comment on the president’s behavior.

President Trump attempted to bulldoze over Biden as he answered questions asked by the moderator. Rather than playing into the argument, Biden either continued his answer while the president interrupted or simply fell silent. There were times when Biden had to request that his time be restored because of the president’s lack of control.

The barrage of questions was highlighted by some as a trigger for people who stutter. Biden has been public about his work as a child to overcome stuttering. A touching video of Biden speaking with a child who stutters went viral recently showing the Democratic nominee’s compassion in a new way.

A lot of people couldn’t help but compare President Trump to a character in Among Us.

Among Us is a space-themed multiplayer online game that has become really popular during the Covid-19 era. It might be a nerdy inside joke considering that the creators of Among Us have attempted to make the game available on consoles but encountered an issue with player communications.

There is already merch (real and not) of Biden’s most memorable line of the night.

During a rant by the president, Biden turned to him and asked, “Will you shut up, man?” The line immediately made it to social media with Americans wanting the president to let Biden speak when given his chance.

Debate viewers are calling for a mute option to silence the mic if a nominee speaks too long.

“The Commission on Presidential Debates sponsors televised debates for the benefit of the American electorate,” reads a statement by the Commission on Presidential Debates. “Last night’s debate made clear that additional structure should be added to the format of the remaining debates to ensure a more orderly discussion of the issues.  The CPD will be carefully considering the changes that it will adopt and will announce those measures shortly.  The Commission is grateful to Chris Wallace for the professionalism and skill he brought to last night’s debate and intends to ensure that additional tools to maintain order are in place for the remaining debates.”

The American people have made their voices heard on social media.

They clearly want better controlled debates. People want to hear the ideas of both nominees, not just one. The election is very consequential for so many different communities. Trump came out the loser of the night as several surveys and polls showed undecided and lean Biden voters into stronger and more likely Biden voters. For some respondents, the most bothersome part was Trump interrupting Biden, especially during Biden’s moment honoring his son, Beau Biden. Beau served in the military and died of a brain tumor in 2015. Joe was responding to reports of President Trump calling military members “losers” and “suckers.”

The Internet Is Showing Its Love For Bad Bunny For Helping Us Get Through 2020 With These Incredible Memes

Badbunnypr / Instagram

It’s a simple fact: 2020 is the Year of Bad Bunny. El Conejo Malo has been everywhere – from epic SNL skits and moving performances on late night TV to the Billboard Hot 200 chart. And he’s been making history in the process.

Millions of fans have been stanning Bad Bunny so hard this year and it’s about time the reggaetónero from Puerto Rico gets the recognition he’s long deserved. And what does the Internet do when it wants to give that recognition? Well, it makes memes of course!

Here is a round up of some of the very best Bad Bunny memes that exist on the world wide webs:

Tell me where the lie is!

Hit after hit, bop after bop, Bad Bunny has delivered consecutive hits and I am here for each and every one of them. From ‘RLNDT’ and ‘NI BIEN NI MAL’ from X 100PRE to ‘Yo Perreo Sola’ and ‘Ignorantes’ on YHLQMDLG, Bad Bunny has given us not one but two albums of the summer.

Same!

The song that launched a meme challenge!

From shocked abuelas and tías to disapproving mothers, ‘Safaera’ has turned into a viral hit – and it’s 100% a song that I can’t wait to dance to once we can hit the clubs once again.

I feel this all the way.

Tell me I’m lying!

Bad Bunny has taken 2020 by storm – and I stan so hard.

With all that’s going on in the world and with so many of us under stay-at-home orders, this meme couldn’t speak a louder truth. Bad Bunny has steamrolled society with not one but two albums in the span of a couple of months. But society is ready for it.

Pretty sure that if Bad Bunny so much as breathes, we all feel it.

I feel connected to him on a special level – he speaks to so many of us in so many ways that this meme might as well be true.

Have you not done this?

Yup, totally been here. Phone call from abuela? Not answering. Slack chat from boss? Ignore. Text from mom? Not replying.

Nothing comes between me and my YHLQMDLG listening time.

The Holy Trinity

The Holy Trinity in all of its glory: X 100PRE, Oasis, and YHLQMDLG. Though how it will look once we add in Las Que No Iban A Salir?!

People need to show some respect!

Yes, that’ all I’m asking for! A moment of respect. Please!

Bad Bunny is helping to heal the world – or at least holds me tight in those scary moments.

And this couldn’t be any more real! With so much going on in the world and all of the uncertainty, Bad Bunny has provided that much-needed comfort blanket that has held me close in all of these crises.
