Teen Dunkin’ Donuts Employee Threatens To Quit After Posting Viral TikTok Of Abusive Customer

We’ve all been there. So frustrated with something at work that we are ready to just lose it and storm out after screaming “I quit!”

However, not too many of us have taken out our phones to capture that frustration so we can share it with the world. Well, thankfully that’s exactly what one teen did when he filmed his interaction with a woman who exposes Dunkin donuts who has now been dubbed a Karen thanks to the video he uploaded to TikTok.

16-year-old Ivan Castillo has shared his frustrations with a rude Karen on TikTok and gone viral.

A Dunkin’ Donuts employee, Ivan Castillo, on TikTok said he is “this close to quitting” after posting a viral video of a customer berating him. In the video, a woman, who has been dubbed a “Karen,” is yelling at Ivan via the drive-thru. She tells the employee he shouldn’t speak until she is finished, calling it “common courtesy.” “OK. That’s my bad,” Ivan responds.

She then misspeaks and tells him that she tried to order a “bean vanilla coolatta.” “And you told me that you didn’t service them here,” she says. But, the customer adds, she orders them all the time, offering to show the employee her old receipts as proof.

“Now all of a sudden the machine is down,” she says, implying that the employee previously told her it wasn’t working.

Then the customer pulls a classic Karen moves and asks for the corporate number.

“So, I’m going to need the corporate number. I don’t want to have to talk to you anymore,” she says. She then demands the number, the employee’s name, and his badge number. When he tries to tell her he doesn’t have a badge number, she cuts him off and says, “Just give me the corporate number.”

We then see Ivan slam the drive-thru window shut and utter “bitch.” He goes to the back of the store and asks his co-workers if they have the corporate number and then returns to tell her they don’t keep the corporate number on file in stores.

“OK. Trust me, I will find out,” she says. He send her off by saying, “That’s fine. Take care, Pamela.”

Ivan posted another TikTok video explaining what had actually happened.

In an explainer video, Ivan explained just how close he is to quitting his job. The TikToker says another employee was first taking the customer’s order. (He later revealed on TikTok that he was the supervisor that day and is only 16 years old.)

He says he chimed in when he thought he overheard the customer attempting to order a piña colada. When he told her Dunkin’ Donuts doesn’t offer piña coladas, she allegedly yelled that she asked for a Vanilla Bean Coolatta, not a piña colada. He says he told her there was no reason to yell because it went “directly into our headsets in our ears, and it was loud.”

“I guess that set her off. She pulled around to the window. That’s when she started yelling at me. That’s when we told her ‘Hey, our machine’s broken,'” he recalls.

“It was kind of a huge inconvenience and just a misunderstanding,” he continues. “I was just frustrated at the end, and you can tell by me slamming the window and calling her a ‘broke bitch.’ All of my actions were done out of frustration. I never meant any disrespect to her. … She got the better of my patience.”

Many on social media applauded Ivan for his actions and called for people to normalize employees standing up for themselves.

Viewers quickly denounced the customer’s behavior and lauded Ivan for his actions. “Normalize returning the energy that customers give you,” one said.

“We need to normalize workers standing up for (themselves). It’s not ok to treat someone like that and not expect the same attitude back,” another said. Others couldn’t believe the customer reacted in that manner over a drink. “All that over a vanilla bean coolatta? Girl,” one questioned.

“I need more!” says this angry woman, frustrated that the Dunkin Donuts employee doesn’t even know what a dozen is. With her droopy mask protecting her chin, she is determined to educate the employee before her. “50. 5-0. That’s what a dozen is! Not 12.”

You Won’t Believe How Good This 4-Year-Old’s Cover Of Selena’s ‘Bidi Bidi Bom Bom’ Is

The Kabs Family / YouTube

The Internet once again delivers us a Selena-related gem and this time it’s in the form of a viral video featuring a little 4-year-old girl from the United Kingdom. The obviously very talented young singer is no stranger to Internet fame, she performs alongside her family in several videos, but her latest rendition of Selena’s hit ‘Bidi Bidi Bom Bom’ has introduced the young singer to an entirely new audience and we are living for it.

A four-year-old girl is going viral for her take on Selena’s iconic ‘Bidi Bidi Bom Bom.’

The adorable 4-year-old Maliya Kabs is charming everyone with her beautiful rendition of Selena’s anthem “Bidi Bidi Bom Bom.”

The now-viral moment was caught on camera by her dad who is sitting in a car with his daughter as she shows off her multilingual skills. After discussing how she’s learned several languages — like Awngi, French, Portuguese, and Lingala — from various family members, her dad shares that he was able to speak 12 languages when he was her age. Clearly bored with the discussion, she eventually asks, “Really, Daddy? Can I just put on my songs?” before cranking up the late singer’s catchy tune.

She starts blasting “Bidi Bidi Bom Bom” and belts out the catchy chorus and instructs her dad to sing. “Canta” she tells her father, who is surprised that his little girl would even know the Spanish lyrics to this song. “It means sing,” she explains to him.

It wasn’t just “Bidi Bidi Bom Bom” that was “one of her songs.” Maliya goes on to sing “Como La Flor” with so much emotion while her dad, visibly shocked, watches her daughter sing along to Selena.

The video now has more than 2.3 million views on YouTube!

Maliya is a member of the UK-based Kabs Family, whose popular car singalongs have amassed millions of views on social media. The family has been making videos since 2018. Their first video went viral when Maliya, then one year old, danced to the popular kid’s song “Baby Shark” and sang to Cardi B’s “Finesse.”

Between nailing the Spanish lyrics and showcasing her passionate dance moves, we wouldn’t be surprised to see Maliya singing in an arena one day. We think that Selena herself would be very proud to see this little girl doing her song justice like this.

People Have Strong Opinions About Bad Bunny’s Word Choice During Recent WWE Performance

People Have Strong Opinions About Bad Bunny’s Word Choice During Recent WWE Performance

He started off 2020 taking over the music industry around the globe, dropping hit after hit among his three albums from 2020 alone. Now, in 2021, Bad Bunny seems to be taking over the wrestling ring as he’s been a common feature at WWE’s wrestling events.

However, with his latest performance, Bad Bunny is in the spotlight for what many are calling a poor choice of words when battling against a fellow wrestler with many accusing the apparently ‘woke’ reggaetonero of homophobia.

Bad Bunny used a Puerto Rican slang word that many people find offensive.

San Benito has been a regular feature on World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) recently and this past Monday’s Raw was an eventful episode for him. Not only did he trade his WWE 24/7 Title Championship to R-Truth for some Steve Austin merchandise but he also got physical with a team of wrestlers.

During the altercation, Benito was hit by a guitar and fell to the floor in apparent agony. Even though the scene was pretty intense and featured plenty of action, it’s what Bad Bunny said that seems to be getting the most headlines.

It has now been exposed by Twitter user @NYCDemonDiva that while Bunny was selling the guitar shot and being checked on by Priest, he actually used an offensive Puerto Rican curse word to describe The Miz. The term was “mamabicho,” which means “cocksucker” in English.

The word “mamabicho” is frequently used to target gay men on the island.

The world is a Puerto Rican insult that can be used to describe a man who acts femininely or is out as gay. With Puerto Rico recently declaring a state of emergency due to the staggering level of violence against the island’s trans community, Bad Bunny should know better than to promote this type of language.

While the WWE probably won’t be happy with Bad Bunny using such language on Raw, it’s unlikely he’ll suffer any repercussions. He has brought the company a lot of mainstream publicity, even appearing with the 24/7 Championship during multiple appearances. He is also featured prominently on WWE’s promotional material for WrestleMania, where he is expected to team with Priest to take on The Miz and John Morrison.
