Hundreds Of Trump’s Senior Policy Advisor’s Emails Supporting White Supremacy Have Been Leaked

White House aide Stephen Miller has been a controversial threat to the integrity and soundness of the White House since he was named Senior Advisor to the President for Policy in 2016. The right-wing political activist and white nationalist has frequently espoused beliefs and talking points of white supremacists and the alt-right. His policies and beliefs have proved to be a stark contrast to New York representative Alexandria-Ocasio-Cortez, a democrat and activist who has made advocacy for the rights of minorities a cornerstone of her own platform.

Recently the two politicians have gone head to toe after AOC called for Miller’s resignation after it was revealed that he had promoted white supremacist articles in the recent past.

Representative Ocasio-Cortez recently called on the White House senior adviser and immigration policy architect to resign this week.

On Tuesday, the Southern Poverty Law Center released over nine hundred of Miller’s emails that had been sent to Breitbart News editors between 2015 and 2016.

After the release of hundreds of Miller’s emails promoting white nationalist content and extremely restrictive immigration policies was released, AOC called for his resignation. Miller’s leaked emails showed that he promoted and shared stories that appeared on white nationalist websites and sparked outrage online and amongst liberal politicians.

Addressing the emails, AOC described Miller as “Trump’s architect of mass human rights abuses at the border” she went onto say that he “has been exposed as a bonafide white nationalist. He’s still at the White House shaping US immigration policy. Miller must resign. Now.” She followed up her tweets with a petition that demanded Miller’s resignation and reads “A white nationalist is currently serving as a top advisor to the President of the United States. In 2019. … This man cannot serve in the White House.”

According to the Southern Poverty Law Center over 80 percent of the leaked emails were sent while Miller served as an aide to Jeff Sessions during his time as a senator. The SPCL claims that the emails primarily touched on race and immigration.

One of the emails shows that Miller sent a Breitbart staffer a link to VDARE, an extremely influential website among white nationalists.

Other emails showed links to the right-wing website InfoWars, a media organization that has been sued by Sandy Hook families for their promotion of false conspiracy theories that the shooting, which took place in 2012 and killed 20 children and six adults, was staged.

According to SPCL, Miller also sent an email to Katie McHugh, a former Breitbart employee who has renounced her views since working at the site, that the survivors of the 2015 hurricane, Patricia “could be given temporary protected status, and that it needed to be ‘the weekend’s BIG story.'”

In response to the leaks a Breitbart spokesperson said “The SPLC claims to have three- to four-year-old emails, many previously reported on, involving an individual whom we fired years ago for a multitude of reasons, and you now have an even better idea why we fired her. Having said that, it is not exactly a newsflash that political staffers pitch stories to journalists — sometimes those pitches are successful, sometimes not.”

Since the emails were leaked, Democrats beside AOC have been quick to strike Miller down.

In a series of tweets, Caroline Orr, a reporter for the National Observer, said that “Stephen Miller emailed Breitbart 900+ times from 2015-2016 to lay out his anti-immigrant policies. His source material included: -White nationalist websites -A “white genocide”-themed novel -Eugenics-era laws that Adolf Hitler lauded in “Mein Kampf.””

Representative Ilhan Omar of Minnesota has also called for Mr. Miller to resign. Rep. Earl Blumenauer, stated in a tweet that Miller Stephen Miller should never have been hired and should be fired immediately. While Senator Bernie Sanders said “Stephen Miller’s white nationalist views are a danger to the American people. We are going to defeat this hateful administration and everything it stands for.”

A Ted Cruz Piñata Exists And People Want One So Bad

Sen. Ted Cruz has reached peak infamy with a piñata in his honor. People have been turned into piñatas over the years for both good and bad reasons. The Cruz piñata serves as a reminder of the senator’s attempt to flee the brutal Texas winter crisis.

A Texas party store is selling piñatas of Sen. Ted Cruz and people are into it.

Piñatas are always the centerpiece of a fun party and they are even more exciting when they are topical. One party shop in Texas is riding on the wave of local and national news criticizing Sen. Cruz to cash in.

Last week Sen. Cruz was caught boarding a United flight to Cancún, Mexico to escape the winter storm devastating Texas. As millions of Texans survived without water and power, the Cruz family booked a Mexican getaway to warmer weather and reliable electricity.

At first, Sen. Cruz tried to blame his daughters for fleeing Texas as his constituents suffered from the weather. He soon changed his story and claimed that he realized he had made a mistake as soon as he sat down on the plane waiting to depart from Houston.

Finally, after days of speculation, someone came forward and leaked text messages from Sen. Cruz’s wife, Heidi. Turns out, according to the texts, that the Cruz family was actively planning a vacation to avoid the snowstorm. According to the texts, the Cruz family was trying to convince neighbors and friends to join them so they can get out of their freezing house. The criticism amplified when it was reported that the Cruz family left the family dog behind as they fled to Mexico.

People are eager to get their hands on a Sen. Cruz piñata.

Families have been in quarantine for almost a year and they are hitting a wall. Now that the weather is starting to warm up, it is no surprise that people would want to have something to do together outdoors. Seems that a lot of people would like a piñata party to celebrate the bad weather slowly moving out.

There are even some people asking for different people made as piñatas.

You never know unless you ask, right? Never hurts to try to make your own request to better your birthday. It seems that the party store is able to make various different piñatas. The party store made a piñata after Sen. Bernie Sanders’ famous mitten moment at President Biden’s inauguration.

AOC And Chuck Schumer Announce Funeral Benefits For Covid-19 Deaths

More than 27 million people in the U.S. have tested positive for Covid-19 and more than 468,000 have died. The avoidable death toll has caused emotional and financial pain to hundreds of thousands of families across the country. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Sen. Chuck Schumer are teaming up to get people benefits to cover unexpected funeral costs.

Rep. AOC and Sen. Chuck Schumer are highlighting funeral benefits to reimburse the families of loved ones who died from Covid-19.

The U.S. government passed a Covid economic relief bill in December to offer some support to the struggling economy. The bill gave some relief to Americans, including $600 relief checks. The previous administration made a show of wanting $2,000 checks before allowing the $600 to go through. The Biden administration’s American Rescue Plan is fulfilling that promise by getting $1,400 checks to Americans to deliver the rest of that $2,000.

Another allocation in the package is $2 billion to reimburse people for some of the funeral costs for Covid victims. According to Bankrate, the average cost of a funeral is around $7,640. This is a tough amount of money for people to come up with without an economic crisis brought on by a pandemic.

Americans can apply for up to $7,000 in reimbursement to cover funeral costs because of Covid.

Rep. Ocasio-Cortez understands the financial burden a sudden death in the family can cause. It is something that more than 400,000 families in the U.S. are dealing with as Covid continues to spread and kill thousands of people in the U.S. daily.

“I lost my Dad when I was about 18 years old, and the funeral expenses haunted and followed my family along with many other families in a similar position for years,” Rep. Ocasio-Cortez said at a news conference announcing the funds. “When you suddenly lose a loved one, you’re talking about an expense of four or five, seven, 10 thousand dollars.”

The benefits are retroactive to the beginning of the pandemic.

AOC is quick to respond on Twitter and confirmed that the funeral benefits are indeed retroactive to January 2020. This offers all families who lost a loved one last year to be eligible for a reimbursement of those funeral costs.

The death toll of Covid is expected to continue to climb as vaccines are rolling out and the race against variants is ongoing. Some new strains of the virus spread faster and there is still work to be done to see if they impact the effectiveness of current vaccines.

The money to cover the reimbursements has been allocated by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The two New York politicians teamed up to make this possible with $260 million of those funds going to New Yorkers.

Communities of color are still facing a disproportionate share of the Covid burden.

According to a study by the American Heart Association, access to a hospital plays a big role in why communities of color are disproportionately impacted by Covid. One of the most glaring reasons for the devastation in non-white communities is that hospitals are predominately in white communities.

“Our findings suggest that in order to address disparities in the burden of COVID-19 among vulnerable patient groups, we must focus on structural reasons for the higher rates of viral transmission and hospitalizations for Black and Hispanic patients,” Dr. Fatima Rodriguez, lead author of the study, which was funded by the AHA, said in a statement.
