Her “relationship” to the Hulk is quite useful.
Parenting can be tough but Zoe Saldana has a little help: Gamora, her character from “Guardians Of The Galaxy.” Saldana and other cast members of “Guardians Of The Galaxy” were on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” to talk about the upcoming sequel. During the interview, Kimmel asked the cast what it’s like to have little kids who see them portraying superheroes on the big screen. Chris Pratt shared a story about his son visiting the set and understanding that his dad flies space ships for work. Then Saldana shared a story about her kids and it is peak Latina mom.
“Well, my kids think that I’m related to the Hulk so I’m using it and I’m getting them to eat their vegetables,” Saldana told the audience. “I even go as far as, like, I go behind this wall and I’m like, ‘I’m going to go call the Hulk because you guys are not eating your veggies and he’s going to come and take your toys.'”
Saldana further reenacted the grunting noise she makes from behind the wall to let the kids know that she means business. Of course, this works and the kids eat their vegetables. Can you really blame her, though? Whatever works, works.
