This is How an LA Dodger Changes the World

And you can help too.

If you are a Dodger fan then you are familiar with the name of Yasiel Puig, A.K.A. the Wild Horse. Yasiel knows a bit about working your way up. He was born in Cuba and his parents, just like many of ours, had to go above and beyond to make sure he had a chance to play sports and finish his studies despite their circumstances.

This explains why Yasiel has a soft spot for children in need and their families. He understands that talent is not enough, you also need an opportunity to show the world what you can do. And this is what inspired Puig to start the Wild Horse Foundation.

The Wild Horse Foundation wants to make sure that kids with talent can thrive. That every kid who wants to study can stay in school and every kid who wants to play a sport has a chance to do so. He believes that talent can come from anyone and he wants to make sure that kids have the means to find it in them.

So far, the Foundation has benefited kids in Miami, LA and the Dominican Republic and he has plans to do a project in Colombia to help bring clean water to villages in need. Talk about Latinos changing the world!

Yasiel also brings his Latino cool vibes to the foundation so instead of having a boring fancy dinner or a private auction, this 2017 he is hosting a thrilling poker night at the Dodger Stadium and you could be a part of it.

No idea on how to play poker? No problema, show up early to the event and there will be professional players to train you and get you ready to face the pros and some of your favorite Dodger’s stars.

Truth is, like Yasiel says: “No one loses here, the winner is the Foundation… whatever you lose in the event goes to benefit other people in need so it doesn’t really feel like you are losing.”

Can’t make it to the event? You can still help Yasiel in his quest to help change the future of hundreds of kids. Check out the Wild Horse Foundation website and donate or shop some goodies for yourself or your loved ones 😉
