“‘I said, ‘Dad, do you want to do an interview?’ And he said, ‘Let her rip.'”

Watching one of your parents fight cancer is tough. Eva Vega-Olds a Boricua whose father, Leonardo Vega, bravely battled cancer, decided to record an intimate conversation between the two. The Puerto Rican father and daughter duo take a beautifully crafted stroll down memory lane as they talk everything from when Leonardo moved from Puerto Rico to New Jersey, to him teaching her how to swim, to walking her down the aisle. Towards the end of the interview, there is a touching moment where Eva asks her father what he is most proud of, and like any Latino parent, his answer will bring you to tears.
