There’s A New Netflix-Like Service In Mexico And Of Course, Mexicans Clowned The Hell Out Of It

Mexican TV giant Televisa recently announced the launch of blim, a streaming on-demand service that’s basically Mexico’s answer to Netflix. Netflix is available in Mexico, but without some of the content available in the U.S. The subscription fee for blim is 109 pesos, which currently comes out to about $6. Like Netflix, blim also features original series that are only available on its platform. How did Mexicans react to the news? By making fun of Televisa’s decision to compete with Netflix, of course.
