Most Interesting Man In The World Replaced With Younger Dude

Will He Drink Dos Equis On Mars?

He’s what we all aspire to be. He can do it all. He does no wrong. He’s The Most Interesting Man in the World and he’s about to say good bye. Para. Siempre.

Yes, it’s the end of an era for Jonathan Goldman who played this character for Dos Equis since 2006. We won’t ever hear him say, “I don’t always drink beer. But when I do, I prefer Dos Equis” because for his final voyage, he’ll be traveling to Mars…on a one-way ticket.

For Goldman, it’s his best and most well-known role. The Most Interesting Man in the World was partially inspired by Fernando Lamas, an Argentinian actor whose accent he adopted. But, Goldman came very close to losing the part. In an interview with NPR, the actor said that his manager and now wife, Barbara, asked a very simple question when the casting director, said he wanted someone younger, “How can the most interesting man in the world be young?” That question got Goldman the part for 10 years.

According to Ad Age, Dos Equis will continue the campaign with a younger actor. The magazine added that Heineken USA, which owns the beer brand, “declined to [identify] the new star, or share details about ad plotlines, other than to say they are seeking to contemporize the campaign.”

As for The Most Interesting Man in the World, “his only regret, is not knowing what regret feels like.” #goals

In a world full of Prince Royce fanatics — aka  Roycenaticas — it’s no surprise people can’t stop speculating on his relationship status with Emeraude Toubia. But, HELLO PEOPLE, forget about him and let’s start talking about her…she’s about to blow up. Here’s why:

Toubia pretty much came out of the womb performing.

Maybe not right out of the womb, but close enough. Toubia was born in Canada and raised in Brownsville, Texas, where she started performing at a young age. Check out Toubia, who is of Mexican and Lebanese descent (like Salma Hayek, you guys) channeling Tejana superstar Selena.

When she was 15 years old, Toubia started competing in beauty pageants and winning…and winning…and winning.

She was crowned Miss South Texas, Miss Rio Grande Valley America and Miss Brownsville Teen.

In 2008, she competed on Univision’s “Nuestra Belleza Latina.”

She didn’t win, but she was first runner up.

In 2013, her success on “Nuestra Belleza Latina” led to a gig on the Nickelodeon Latin America telenovela “11-11: En Mi Cuadra Nada Cuadra.”

And the Venezuelan telenovela “Cosita Linda” in 2014.

But what about this whole Prince Royce “is she or isn’t she his girlfriend” thing?

Well, since around 2011, it has been rumored that Toubia and Prince Royce are more than friends, but neither of them will give a public confirmation.

But they do go out on dates together.

Like when they attended the 16th Latin Grammy Awards together lookin’ like the perfect couple and all.

And they get all hot and steamy together on camera.

Like when they starred in the video for “Culpa al Corazón” together and their chemistry set the screen on fire. When asked about Prince Royce, Toubia told Latina, “He’s a guy that I admire so much. He’s someone that fights for his dreams, and that keeps fighting. I like to surround myself with people that have dreams and that fight for them everyday. I think he’s a big role model for young girls and young guys.”

But, what Toubia does or doesn’t have going on with Royce is secondary to what she’s got going on in her career.

“Shadowhunters,” which was renewed for a second season, is based on “The Mortal Instruments” fantasy novel series by Cassandra Clare. Isabelle Lightwood, known as Izzy, is a mercurial demon hunter with a penchant for fashionable clothing.

Oh, and not only does she slay as Izzy while in heels and with whip in hand…

She also does her own stunts. Yup, all that choreography she learned in dance class is coming in handy now that she plays a badass.

So although we may never know what is really going on with her and Prince Royce, WE DO KNOW she is a rising star in her own right.
