Sofia Vergara Sucks In This Hilarious Tonight Show Clip

No one will ever accuse my future wife, Sofia Vergara, of taking herself too seriously. In a recent appearance on “The Tonight Show,” host Jimmy Fallon persuaded the Colombian actor to inhale from a helium-filled balloon. Vergara briefly hesitated, asking, “Is this legal to inhale?” Then of course she took the challenge like a champ. After a healthy hit of helium, the 44-year-old actress was barely able to squeak out a hilariously high pitched “My name is…” before breaking into a fit of laughter, along with Fallon and the entire audience.

She might be the highest paid actress on television, but that doesn’t mean she’s afraid to make her self the butt of the joke.

The helium gag has always been a fan favorite, especially because it takes very distinct voices to new levels of hilarity.

Not every guest on The Tonight Show has shown the same level of enthusiasm as Vergara.

Morgan Freeman, who has one of the most distinctive voices on the planet, was a bit apprehensive when he tried it, but it was worth it.

Cardi B Goes On Jimmy Fallon And Talks About A Poop Issue So Many Of Us Can Relate To

Cardi B Goes On Jimmy Fallon And Talks About A Poop Issue So Many Of Us Can Relate To

It’s not too often that the lyrics of a Cardi B song are highly ambiguous or leave you wondering what she’s talking about. I mean take the lyrics for her song “WAP” with Megan Thee Stallion, we all know what they’re talking about there.

But the lyrics to her song “Up” are a bit less transparent and more open to interpretation. So, during a recent guest appearance on The Tonight Show, she explained to Jimmy Fallon the actual meaning behind the lyrics and although they also have to do with the body, it’s quite a different angle for the “Bodak Yellow” rapper.

Cardi B explained to Jimmy Fallon the meaning behind the lyrics for her song “Up.”

Cardi B left Jimmy Fallon lost for words after explaining the unexpected meaning behind a line in her new single “Up,” as she revealed one part of the song originally referred to an uncomfortable constipation situation. The line in question, which she had borrowed from her husband Offset, is: “If it’s up, then it’s stuck.”

Cardi admitted she initially thought it was a “Georgia thing” as Offset, who is from the state, says it “a lot”, but she soon learned fans from other Southern U.S. states are also familiar with the phrase, so she was inspired to use it too. She said, “After the song came out, I thought it was a Georgia thing, but then people were like, ‘We say that in New Orleans,’ ‘We say that in Florida.’ I’m like, ‘OK, man, listen. I guess, whatever.”

During the exchange with Fallon, Cardi added: “Um, so have you ever taken a poop, right, and it don’t come out?” “It’s just up and it’s stuck. Yeah,” she shared. After an awkward silence, Fallon uttered, “Wow,” while Cardi simply nodded.

Fallon tried to look for other meanings in the ambiguous lyrics.

A stunned Fallon then offered his own take, suggesting the phrase could be about reaching a certain level of success and then maintaining it.

Cardi followed up, “It’s a metaphorical quote,” suggesting that achievement and constipation are just two of many possible interpretations of the song and that poop probably wasn’t actually on Cardi’s mind when she wrote the tune.

The pair also had fun during the show’s Mimic Challenge segment.

She is always one of the best guests on these shows. It makes them so much more fun to watch.

Meanwhile, get a look at the video for her song “Up” below.

And tell us what you think of the lyrics!

Just when you thought you’d heard it all, news of Sofia Vergara playing Zorro’ TV Series comes out, and you have to start questioning everything.

That’s right–recently the news broke that Vergara will be starring in a “Zorro” TV series where she’ll be playing a female version of the legendary masked vigilante.

According to the press release, the Colombian beauty will be playing the character of Sola Dominguez, an “underground artist who fights for social justice as a contemporary version of the mythical Zorro’ TV Series.” The plot will thicken as Dominguez’s “life is threatened by several criminal organizations after she exposes them.” So…it sounds like the series will also be set in modern times? Interesting.

The character of “Zoro” was created by Johnston McCulley in 1919. The legend follows a masked, caped crusader (alias: Don Diego de la Vega) in Alta California who defends Indigenous and poor Californians from the heartless and exploitative ruling class.

The wildly popular character started off appearing in the pages of pulp fiction books before making his big-screen debut in 1920. Since then, the character has been played by everyone from Douglas Fairbanks to Antonio Banderas to Christian Meier.

This time around, the reboot is being produced by Mexican-American Robert Rodriguez of “Machete” and “Spy Kids” fame.

According to reports, the pilot will be directed by Robert Rodriguez’s sister, writer-director Rebecca Rodriguez. So that means the main creative team is made up of Latinos and will be spearheaded by a woman. This sounds like a super exciting project!

This isn’t the first time that Rodriguez and Vergara have partnered up professionally. The duo previously teamed up for 2013’s Machete Kills in which Vergara played a deadly and seductive brothel owner.

This isn’t the first time that Robert Rodriguez has been attached to a Zorro movie. He was initially set to direct 1999’s version, The Mask of Zorro, starring Antonio Banderas, but ended up shelving that project due to creative differences.

We hope that Rodriguez can truly execute his vision this time around! We love to see Latinos as a creative force in front of and behind the camera.
