Racist Congressman on National Television: What Have Non-White People Ever Done For Civilization?
Stop picking on white people!
The first night of the Republican national convention isn’t even on the books yet, and we’ve already have a scandal coming out of Cleveland. Earlier today, Steve King, who represents Iowa, a state that exports corn and white people looking to get the hell out of Iowa, went on MSNBC as a talking head to provide context to the convention. But instead of providing in-depth analysis, King chose to drop this fiery hot take:
“This ‘old white people’ business does get a little tired, Charlie,” King told the MSNBC panel. “I’d ask you to go back through history and figure out, where are these contributions that have been made by these other categories of people that you’re talking about, where did any other subgroup of people contribute more to civilization?”
This is how non-racist white people (and everyone else) reacted (we assume).
In Steve King’s defense, he probably misspoke. It’s not like he’s got a history of saying and doing really screwed up things. LOL SYKE. Here’s King calling undocumented immigrants mules with “calves the size of cantaloupes.”
Oh, and here’s Steve King posing with a Confederate flag.

LOL. The silver lining? No matter how many racist things Steve King says, the fact is that America is and will continue to get more and more non-white, and there’s absolutely nothing he can do about it. LOL.
