She Went From Nickelodeon To The Latest ‘Transformers’ Movie
The trailer for “Transformers: The Last Knight” has arrived and it’s exactly what you’d expect from Michael Bay’s successful franchise: lots of big, twisting metal, humans covered in sweat and grease, and Optimus Prime. Mark Wahlberg, reprises his role as Cade Yeager in the trailer for the “The Last Knight,” which foreshadows Optimus Prime’s turn to the dark side — wait, that’s “Star Wars.” Umm, Optimus Prime’s turn to the dark of the moon… um… HE’S GONNA BE EVIL, OK? You may have spotted a new face getting lots of time in the new trailer.
That face belongs to Isabela Moner, one of the new leads in the film.

Moner, who has Peruvian roots, plays Izabella, a character she described as a homeless tomboy who joins Cade Yeager in his fight against the Decepticons. Moner gave Screenrant a few extra details about her character: “My character is also a welder. She fixes things. She’s known for fixing things. And she knows a lot about Transformers because she’s lived with them after she lost her family in Chicago.
You’ll likely be seeing more of Moner in the future. The teen has already scored a role in “Soldado,” the follow-up to the hit movie “Sicario.”
“Transformers: The Last Knight” is scheduled for release next summer.
