Marco Rubio Is A Hypocrite And Here’s Why
Marco Rubio, one of many presidential hopefuls crushed by Donald Trump, will be running for reelection to the U.S. Senate. The Florida politician had ZERO chill about using the horrific mass shooting of Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Fla. to re-energize his political career. The thing is, he is not and never has been a friend of the LGBTQ community, and his own record on guns proves he has no interest in doing anything to curb the daily occurrence of gun violence gripping the United States. But, you know, those are just pesky facts.
You might remember Marco Rubio from his time as a GOP presidential candidate.

Well, the man, once so adamant about leaving politics…
I have only said like 10000 times I will be a private citizen in January.

*queue dramatic music*
The same day he announced, everyone started to question why he even thinks he should run for reelection.

He should really just sit this one out. After all, he didn’t even win Florida during the presidential primary, just saying.
Why the change in heart? Well, he is apparently “deeply impacted” by the shooting in Orlando that killed 49 people.
Our prayers are with those injured and killed early this morning in horrifying act of terror in Orlando.

The shooting that impacted Sen. Rubio had the sad designation of the worst mass shooting on both the Latino and LGBTQ community in U.S. history.
Which is interesting because he has never stood with the LGBTQ community and has a very iffy record on guns.
Seriously. This dude has been making a career out of making sure that LGBTQ Floridians and Americans do not get the same rights as the rest of the population.
Even when he was asked about a rumor that he was open to marriage equality, Rubio recoiled and denounced it.
He has even called same-sex adoption a f*cking social experiment! No wonder he has been called the most homophobic Senator in the country.
He even pledged, during the campaign just a few months ago, to undo executive orders offering LGBTQ people super basic discrimination protections.
Like the one that allows trans people to use the bathroom that reflects their gender identity. Not to mention, he wants to try and outlaw same-sex marriage despite the Supreme Court ruling.
Now that we have established that he isn’t doing it for the LGBTQ community, let’s see if he cares about gun violence. J.Lo Spoiler Alert:
According to Sen. Rubio, tougher gun laws “wouldn’t have prevented” the deadly Orlando rampage.
The man who was deeply impacted by the shooting voted against blocking suspected terrorists from buying guns just days after Orlando.
WTF is actually going on here?!
Look, Rubio. No one cares if you pretend to care. Politicians do it all the time. But do not try to say you are deeply impacted by the death of people whose rights you fought against. Don’t pretend you care when you made it easier for the attacker to get the murder weapon. It. Does. Not. Work. That. Way!
If you live in Central Florida, blood donations are needed after mass shooting at #PulseNightclub https://t.co/g0Hg5FK1sY

Good luck with your race, but don’t go hoping the LGBTQ community is suddenly going to come running to your side. You have made a career out of dehumanizing and degrading the very community you are trying to schmooze right now.
