In A New Interview, Aubrey Plaza Reveals She’s Bisexual

In a recent interview with Advocate, Aubrey Plaza revealed she’s bisexual. And that’s amazing! Plaza, 32, has built her career playing characters that encourage uniqueness and throw up a middle finger to the expectations of society. Plaza said her characters are inspired by her real life mission: “Even though I have my own insecurities, I’ve always had this mission of disrupting social norms.” When asked how she embraces her weirdness, Plaza replied:
“Being in a very Irish Catholic, Republican area, my community theater taught me at an early age that it’s OK to stand out and let your freak flag fly.”

We’re happy for Aubrey’s announcement, as it hopefully will open the door for other people in a similar situation to finally embrace their own sexuality.
