These are the Fresno Grizzlies.

They’re a Triple-A Minor League baseball team affiliated with the Houston Astros.

They do plenty of off-the-wall stuff to put butts in the seats. Like wearing Star Wars-themed jerseys…

They love them so much that they’re changing their name to the Fresno Tacos.

Just for one night, though. The Grizzlies will become the Tacos on Saturday, August 8.

Do these marketing gimmicks ever work, though?

In this case, yes. Darren Rovell of ESPN says the Grizzlies sold more than 1,000 Taco hats after announcing the one-day name change.
