Watch: Coulter Says Donald Trump Can Win Election, Audience Erupts in Laughter

If you thought Donald Trump would have a change of heart after the backlash he received for his anti-immigrant comments, think again.

Although Trump appeared to be slightly apologetic on Twitter last week…

He showed zero signs of backpedalling:

Keep on hating, Donald.

Trump got some love from professional troll Ann Coulter, who went on Real Time with Bill Maher to promote her latest book, ¡Adios, America!  In her book, Coulter claims that immigrants are turning America into a “third world hellhole.” Right. So, when Maher asked Coulter who, out of the current declared candidates, would most likely win the general election…

Coulter replied:

Coulter Donald Trump

The audience ROARED with laughter.

Political commentator Joy-Ann Reid’s reaction said it all:

Without saying a word, it’s clear Reid is thinking: “Is she serious?”

Coulter didn’t appreciate the ridicule:

She turned to the audience to call them out for their “fake laughter.”

Donald Trump, however, appreciated the endorsement:

Congressman Luis Gutierrez (D – Illinois) had the real mic-drop quote of the night, though:

Meet Miles Morales:

Miles Morales Spider-Man

He’s a black Latino – African-American dad, Puerto Rican mom – who’s been Spider-Man in Ultimate Comics: Spider-Man since 2011

Morales was originally a part of Ultimate Marvel.

It’s an alternate comic universe where the stories of characters such as Spider-Man, Wolverine and The X-Men were reimagined.

It’s from the animated series Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man: Web-Warriors. Morales is played by Donald Glover (aka Childish Gambino), who previously campaigned to get an audition for The Amazing Spider-Man in 2010 (the part went to Andrew Garfield).

Glover had to settle for wearing this in an episode of Community:

Sorry, Don. Back to Miles…

Marvel Comics recently announced that Morales will become the main Spider-Man of their official universe.

Morales will star in his own series titled Spider-Man. His mentor, Peter Parker, will continue to appear in The Amazing Spider-Man. Co-creator and writer Brian Michael Bendis told the NY Daily News that he’s “not Spider-Man with an asterisk.” He added: [I]t’s the real Spider-Man for kids of color, for adults of color and everybody else.”

Yep, Marvel’s official Spider-Man will be black and Latino.

Spider Deal With It

Co-creator and writer Brian Michael Bendis told the NY Daily News he understands the importance of superheroes of color:

“Many kids of color who when they were playing superheroes with their friends, their friends wouldn’t let them be Batman or Superman because they don’t look like those heroes but they could be Spider-Man because anyone could be under that mask. But now it’s true. It’s meant a great deal to a great many people.”

BTW, Morales isn’t the first Latino Spider-Man.

That distinction belongs to the lead character of Spider-Man 2099: Miguel O’Hara, a geneticist who was born to Mexican and Irish parents. Spider-Man 2099 made its debut in 1992 and ended its run in 1996.

Will we see Morales in upcoming Spider-Man movies? Probably not.

Donald Glover No

Marvel and Sony Pictures recently announced that they’ve found a new Peter Parker:

That’s 19-year-old British actor Tom Holland. Some people have asked: “Why another white guy?”

Leaked emails from Sony and Marvel show that they couldn’t portray Peter Parker as anything but “Caucasian and heterosexual.”
