This Mexican Comedian Says Donald Trump Is “Insane Bigot”

Over the last few years, comedian Louis CK has used an email newsletter to connect with fans, sending messages about new projects and how fans can support those projects. In a recent newsletter, Louis CK, who is currently promoting his web series “Horace and Pete,” took time out to ask his fans not to vote for Donald Trump.

The Mexican comedian – yes, he’s Mexican – thanked fans for supporting “Horace and Pete” despite there being no promotion or advertising for the show. Then he included one more message: Don’t vote for Trump.

“P.S. Please stop it with voting for Trump. It was funny for a little while. But the guy is Hitler. And by that I mean that we are being Germany in the 30s. Do you think they saw the shit coming? Hitler was just some hilarious and refreshing dude with a weird comb over who would say anything at all.”

He expressed his frustration with the “you vs. me” mentality of partisan politics.

“When I was growing up and when I was a younger man, liberals and conservatives were friends with differences. They weren’t enemies. And it always made sense that everyone gets a president they like for a while and then hates the president for a while. But it only works if the conservatives put up a good candidate. A good smart conservative to face the liberal candidate so they can have a good argument and the country can decide which way to go this time. Trump is not that. He’s an insane bigot. He is dangerous.”

He empathized with everyone’s frustration with politics, but reminded fans that Trump is dangerous.

“I get that all these people sound like bullshit soft criminal opportunists. The whole game feels rigged and it’s not going anywhere but down anymore. I feel that way sometimes.

And that voting for Trump is a way of saying ‘fuck it. Fuck them all.’ I really get it. It’s a version of national Suicide. Or it’s like a big hit off of a crack pipe. Somehow we can’t help it. Or we know that if we vote for Trump our phones will be a reliable source of dopamine for the next four years. I mean I can’t wait to read about Trump every day. It’s a rush. But you have to know this is not healthy. If you are a true conservative. Don’t vote for Trump. He is not one of you. He is one of him.”

And he asked Trump voters to educate themselves on the issues.

“In fact, if you do vote for Trump, at least look at him very carefully first. You owe that to the rest of us. Know and understand who he is. Spend one hour on google and just read it all. I don’t mean listen to me or listen to liberals who put him down. Listen to your own people.”

He reiterated that people should vote with their brain, not their gut.

“A vote for Trump is so clearly a gut-vote, and again I get it. But add a little brain to it and look the guy up. Because if you vote for him because of how you feel right now, the minute he’s president, you’re going to regret it. You’re going to regret it even more when he gives the job to his son.”

And he reminded everyone that Hitler rose to power in a similar manner.

“That’s how Hitler got there. He was voted into power by a fatigued nation and when he got inside, he did all his Hitler things and no one could stop him.”

CK said he understood he’s just another “celebrity with an opinion,” but asked fans to remember that Trump is running for selfish reasons.

“I know I’m not qualified or particularly educated and I’m not right instead of you. I’m an idiot and I’m sure a bunch of you are very annoyed by this. Fucking celebrity with an opinion. I swear this isn’t really a political opinion. You don’t want to know my political opinions. (And I know that I’m only bringing myself trouble with this shit.) Trump has nothing to do with politics or ideology. He has to do with himself.”

Louis CK ended the email by asking fans to remember that Trump isn’t some larger-than-life character who exists to entertain:

sad-man

“He’s not a monster. He’s a sad man. But all this makes him horribly dangerous if he becomes president. Give him another TV show. Let him pay to put his name on buildings. But please stop voting for him. And please watch Horace and Pete.”

Brazilian President Bolsonaro Distances Himself From Former ‘Friend’ Donald Trump

Brazilian President Bolsonaro Distances Himself From Former ‘Friend’ Donald Trump

As we previously reported, different world leaders gave very different responses to Biden’s win and Trump’s loss of the recent presidential election.

While Mexican President López Obrador is making headlines for refusing to acknowledge Biden’s victory “until all the legal matters have been resolved,” another Latin American president is grabbing the media’s attention for a recent remark he made.

Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro surprised everyone by recently telling a group of students that Trump “isn’t the most important person in the world.”

“I’m not the most important person in Brazil, just as Trump isn’t the most important person in the world,” he told a graduating class of police cadets. “No one is more important than God.” This statement raised eyebrows because up until this point, Bolsonaro acted like Trump was, indeed, the most important person in the world.

Throughout his presidency, Bolsonaro has made a public display of his respect and admiration for President trump. In fact he was so complimentary of Trump that the media dubbed him the “Trump of the Tropics”. He went so far as to tell Trump “I love you” at a meeting between the two world leaders in at a United Nations conference in 2019.

The similarities between the two blustering leaders are numerous.

They both practice populist, nationalistic, authoritarian tendencies. They both have placed their children in high-ranking government positions. They both love to use the term “fake news”.

Since Trump’s defeat, Bolsonaro’s son Eduardo has continued to publicly voice his support of Trump. He recently Tweeted out a statement implying that Americans are “naive” and “puppets” of social media conglomerates who are dictating to us what is “real or fake” based on their selfish desires. He also Tweeted out that “disinformation is the weapon of the left.”

But sources close to President Bolsonaro say that he has adopted a “more pragmatic tone” since his advisors told him that Trump wouldn’t be the next President of the United States.

Although Bolsonaro appears to have distanced himself from Trump he, still, reportedly has not congratulated Biden on his win. But nevertheless, he no longer seems to be as head-over-heels with Trump as he did when Trump was at the height of his power. Bolsonaro’s attitude reversal begs the question: if he can forsake his “friend” and role model Donald Trump, we wonder what other former sycophants are next in line to cut ties with the sitting duck president.

As Donald Trump Continues To Deny His Loss, His Ex-Wife Ivana Says ‘I Just Want This Whole Thing to Be Over’

When it comes to the election Donald Trump’s ex-wife Ivana Trump wants it all over and done with like the rest of us.

The 71-year-old Czech-American businesswoman and media personality is speaking out after her ex-husband vocalized his decision to not accept the recent results of the presidential election which have seen a Joe Biden victory. Instead, the president has insisted he will move forward with a series of lawsuits aimed at the states where he lost including Nevada and Pennsylvania.

Speaking about her ex-husband, with whom she remains close, Ivana described Trump as “not a good loser.”

“I just want this whole thing to be over with, one way or the other,” Ivana told People in a recent magazine interview. “I really don’t care.”

Referring to her ex, who has claimed without evidence that the 2020 election was “stolen” from him, Ivana said “He’s not a good loser… He doesn’t like to lose, so he’s going to fight and fight and fight.”

While Trump’s supporters have continued to back his allegations of fraud, various media sites and former Presidents George W. Bush, Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, and Jimmy Carter have recognized President-elect Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris’s election as valid. Even 2012 Republican presidential nominee Sen. Mitt Romney congratulated Biden for his win.

World leaders like U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson, French President Emmanuel Macron, and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau have also acknowledged and congratulated Biden on his win.

Ivana went on to share that when it comes to the loss her three children with her ex-husband — Eric, Donald Jr., and Ivanka — are doing “fine.”

Still, as a mother, Ivana said that she’s excited for her children to move away from Washington, D.C.

“I just want them to be able to live their normal lives — normal lives,” she explained. “Not the Washington life and all that, just in New York or wherever they’re going to be and just live their normal lives.”

“I think they enjoyed being around Donald and running the election and seeing what will happen, but now it is — thank god — over,” Ivana went onto share. “I’m not really sure what they are going to be up to.”

According to People “A source close to Ivanka and her husband, Jared Kushner, both of whom are senior White House aides, had only rosy projections to make: ‘Back of the envelope, the opportunities that are available to them — without getting too much in the weeds — it’s obvious they can be in control of the Republican Party for decades or they can do international work or business.'”

When it comes to Trump, Ivana says that she predicts he’ll be over politics once he’s done with his protests.

“I don’t think he has a choice,” Ivana said. “He’s going to go down to Palm Beach and play golf and live the normal life, I think. This is the best choice for what he can do.”

She says that, of course, this is once he tunes into reality.

“He has to go and declare that he lost. But he hates to be a loser, that I’m sure of,” she replied. “But if he loses, he loses. He has plenty of money, places to go and live in and enjoy his life.”
