This Super Bowl Commercial Hasn’t Even Aired Yet And People Are Already Divided Over It
Super Bowl commercials are always one most talked-about events of the game, and this year’s Anheuser-Busch ad is sure to stir conversation and debate this coming Sunday. The minute-long commercial highlights Adolphus Busch’s immigration from Germany to St. Louis, where he eventually met up with Eberhard Anheuser and created what would become a billion-dollar company.
The commercial, titled “Born The Hard Way,” spent several months in production, but its arrival couldn’t have been better timed.

In previous years, this Anheuser-Busch commercial might not have raised many eyebrows, but in light of the past week’s tumultuous political climate, its message will easily draw critics and supporters. The commercial, which ends with the tagline “When nothing stops your dream, this is the beer we drink,” doesn’t necessarily take a political stand regarding immigration, but it does pay tribute to the contributions immigrants have made to this country and even their own company.
