The country first fell in love with Laurie Hernandez when she helped the U.S. Women’s Gymnastics team bring home the gold during the 2016 Rio Olympics. Now, the country is falling in love with Hernandez all over again as the winner of “Dancing With The Stars” Season 23. Her time on DWTS stars has been filled with perfect scores and the after death of her abuelita, she ended the show with a big victory.

“I just want to thank everyone for the support and riding along on this crazy roller coaster of my life,” Hernandez told the finale crowd after being crowned the winner. “My goal is just to inspire others as I go on with my journey and thanks for being there for me.”
This was the final performance that sealed the deal and brought Hernandez the victory.
