Leading Other Latinos Through Our Examples

Mentoring Makes Everyone Stronger

One quality that sets us Latinos apart from others is that we treat everyone like family. We don’t tear each other down, we build others up. We’ve learned from our hardships, we’ve picked ourselves up, and we do our best to help others through their struggles in different ways. Bernardette Pinetta works with students to give them access to technology while Melissa Lopez acts as an ambassador to empower younger women. See how other young Latinos are paving the way for future generation.

mitú challenges you to tell us what being a Latino in the US means to you in your own story, with a social media post, a meme, or any way you feel most comfortable using #WeAreAmerica. Together, we will create a beautiful portrait of what it means to be Latino in the US.
