Lauren Jauregui Was Busted For Carrying Pot In An Airport And Twitter Is Loving It

Fifth Harmony’s Lauren Jauregui is the center of another controversy this year but this time it’s about marijuana. The singer was at Dulles International Airport in Washington, D.C. when officers found weed in her bag. According to Jauregui’s attorney, the singer was only “given a citation for possession of marijuana” and was not arrested or detained. Yet, that didn’t stop Harmonizers from having Jauregui’s back and lowkey celebrating a new icon.

Lauren Jauregui fans are not letting her marijuana possession taint their opinion of the singer.

On Dec. 14, Jauregui was going through security at Dulles International Airport when officers found weed in her bag.

Fans are turning into detectives digging up old evidence.

That is some serious foreshadowing, yo.

More than ever, this fandom has totally come to her side to support, and low key celebrate, the news.

SCREAMING!

She’s being labeled an idol after her amazing year in the spotlight.

It seems that 2016 was only able to be kind to one person and it was Lauren Jauregui.

Jauregui’s arrest has only solidified the love her fans are showing her.

This fandom is lit.

There’s speculation on how she handled the situation. Maybe she wore a disguise?

Some think she tried running to avoid being arrested.

While others think she just bold-faced lied.

But, like, how do they know that it wasn’t merch?

And one fan is already suspecting her latest playlist addition.

?????

Others think Camila Cabello might be behind Jauregui’s pot possession.

And we’re over here waiting for a denial but…

A few Photoshop wizards have reimagined the “Back To Me” single art.

Dayum. ?

Jauregui fans are falling more and more in love with each other too because of this.

That is some serious love right there.

However, some fans are shocked that she was even caught carrying weed.

Perhaps TSA is more thorough that Disney PD. Just a thought.

Her arrest for pot is just another bit of doubt that makes #Camren seem more and more realistic.

Come on, Lauren. Tell us the truth. Is or was Camren ever a thing? The people want to know.

Jauregui has defended herself against the claims that she was arrested and threw some shade at news agencies for covering her arrest and not things like Aleppo.

Former Fifth Harmony member Lauren Jauregui is opening up about a traumatic time in her life that affects the way she approaches romantic relationships to this day.

On Becky G‘s En La Sala podcast, Jauregui revealed that the imaginary relationships that fans “shipped” between her and Camila Cabello made her “disgustingly uncomfortable”.

As a background, “shipping” is an internet phenomenon in which fans want two people (either real or imagined) to get together in a romantic relationship. On the internet, “shipping” usually consists of fans producing art or other creative works to support their imagined storyline.

Jauregui and Cabello were the centerpiece of such a fandom. Fans even had an imagined portmanteau for the duo: “Camren”. Fans would interpret everything–a stray glance, a lingering hug, them dancing on stage together–as evidence that they were secretly dating. But the two women were never in a romantic relationship.

Jauregui–who now identifies as bisexual–explained that the rumors upset her so much for a myriad of reasons. First, she didn’t have romantic feelings towards Cabello. “Camila and I were just very good friends at that time,” she explained to Becky G. “And we respected each other. When each other would talk, we would look at each other. We had love for each other. Like, genuine friendship.”

Number two, Jauregui was aware that Cabello was not queer, and that fact further complicated things.

“It made me feel like a predator,” she said. “Because of the type of clips people would put together and the type of stories people would write and the type of stuff–I was always the aggressor and I was always the one turning her. I was always the one who was the ‘masculine’ energy in the scenario and it made me very uncomfortable because that is not how I identify.”

Jauregui also explains that the rumors were hard for her because, at the time, she wasn’t ready to come out publicly. “I wasn’t even comfortable with telling my parents about it,” she said. “I wasn’t even comfortable telling myself that I was queer.”

All of the speculation around her relationship with Cabello had lasting effects on her confidence with women.

“To this day I have an issue flirting with girls because I don’t want to make them think that I’m trying to invade or anything like that,” she revealed.

Jauregui went on to say that she doesn’t usually talk about that time of her life in public because it was “so traumatizing” for her. “I just chose to ignore it at a certain point, because getting angry to [those fans] would mean that it was real and validated it more for them. So I was like, okay, then I can’t get angry or defend myself, apparently, because that just makes it more real [for them]. It just really f—– with my head.”

Lauren Jauregui’s revelation is just another example of how fans can sometimes forget that celebrities are people too. Unfortunately, Jauregui experienced trauma at the hands of people who probably thought the entire thing was just fun and games.

Another Fifth Harmony Alum Dropped A Major Bop: Ally Brooke Released ‘No Good’ Her First Solo Venture

The Fifth Harmony alum, who won third place on “Dancing With the Stars,” just dropped a new track and we’re excited. Ally’s new song is relatable, catchy and upbeat. The singer’s first solo song is all about relationships that are no good for you and how hard they are to get out of. Who knows, maybe this track will propel Ally into to the top of the charts like former band-members Camila and Normani. Here’s everything we know.

‘No Good’ is a Disco-inspired song with all-too-relatable lyrics.

Ally Brooke’s new song ‘No Good’ is a disco-inspired track about a love that’s ‘no good’ for her, but she just can’t stay away. If you can’t relate to that story well then it must be nice to be you.

The song’s lyrics have us feeling seen; “You put me to hell, but I just can’t quit.”

With lyrics that tell the story of a hard-to-quit toxic relationship, the former Fifth Harmony member is preaching to the choir over here. In the first verse of the song Brooke sings “You put me through hell. But I can’t quit for heaven’s sake.” The pre-chorus has us feeling even more seen; “Make a promise that I’m leaving. But my heart only wants what it wants. In the madness what a feeling, I’m hung up should be hanging it up.”

The song was written by a team of celebs, which will no doubt help make it a success.

According to Billboard, the song was written by an all-star team of chart-topping artists including Justin Bieber, G-Eazy, Demi Lovato, and Kim Petra. The track also features a sample from the 1987 Kelly Charles classic “You’re No Good For Me.”

Brooke’s new single is an exciting release for her fans. ‘No Good’ is her first completely solo venture. Her previous releases, ”Low Key,” “Lips Don’t Lie,” and “Higher” all featured other artists. “Low Key” featured Tyga, “Lips Don’t Lie” featured A Boogie Wit da Hoodie and “Higher” was a collaboration with Matoma.

Just hours after releasing her new song, Ally won third place on DWTS.

The bop of a track was released just hours before the season 28 finale of DWTS aired. After nearly being eliminated in last week’s episode, this week Brooke and Sasha Farber danced it out and were awarded the third place. The couple earned a perfect score of 30/30 for their Freestyle, despite failing to nail a lift at the beginning of their performance. The judges made no mention of the mistake and still gave them a perfect score.

Brooke took to Instagram to share how important the dance competition has been for her.

Amid all of her posts about “No Good” on her Instagram Story, the 26-year-old shared a bittersweet post about her dancing journey coming to an end. “Tonight was our last rehearsal,” she lamented. “So many emotions that I’m feeling. I cannot express how incredible this whole experience has been for me. This show will forever have a piece of my heart. And so will @sashafarber1. Thank you for being not only a wonderful partner, but a wonderful friend. You have brought the best out of me. And for that, I’ll never be able to say thank you enough. I love you Sash. Tomorrow is the finale. Our final dances together. Let’s go and shine.”

The former Fifth-Harmony singer teased the release of her new single on Instagram.

Just last week the 26-year-old singer took to Instagram to tease her fans by sharing the cover of her single on the social media platform. A few days later, Ally shared a snippet of the disco-tinged banger.

The song ends on a positive note, after dragging all of us who can relate it.

“You’re no good for me, I don’t need nobody,” the rising star belts on the chorus. “Don’t need no one, that’s no good for me.”—can I get an amen? It’s only been one day since the song’s release, but it already sounds like a breath of fresh air in comparison to the mid-tempo tracks dominating the music scene.

With any luck, radio stations will get behind “No Good” and propel the song to the top of the charts. After laying the groundwork, it’s time for Ally to land her very own “Havana” or “Motivation,” like former band members Camila Cabello and Normani, did.

Fans are hoping that the single means that a debut solo album might be on the way to drop this coming 2020.
