OITNB Cast Join Forces For A Video Addressing The Need For Police Reform

Netflix / YouTube

The OITNB cast teamed up with Color of Change for an honest series of interviews about anti-racism.

Police brutality and reform are two of the biggest issues facing American society today. The deaths of Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and George Floyd have sparked national and global protests to save Black lives. Black Lives Matter has organized protests across the country that have caught the attention of everyone to demand racial justice.

In the above video, the cast of OITNB spends an hour interviewing people in the fight to end racism to help fans of the show take action. There are so many ways to be involved in the fight. Some people might now know ways to help organizations demanding justice for Black lives.

You can donate, protest (safely), and shop to help the Black community. There are various organizations, local, state, and national that are bailing out protesters, offering therapy assistance, and supporting Black political candidates.

If you are struggling to know how to help the Black Lives Matter movement, this video from the OITNB is a great resource.
