If You Loved Chamango as a Kid, You’ll Love this Mango and Tequila Paleta Recipe

Credit: DM DU JOUR

Remember those spicy mangos on a stick your parents used to buy you?

Have you ever thought of mixing that with TEQUILA?

And making it into a paleta?

Thought we’d get your attention.  Here’s how you do it…

Get the good stuff.

3 peeled and chopped mangos, and 2 ounces of tequila.

Toss the ingredients into a blender.

Blend until super smooth.

Set aside in a bowl.

That was easy!

Now get the spicy stuff.

And coat your popsicle molds…

…with as little or as much as you want.

Can you handle the spice?

Go ahead, keep drizzling.

Then spoon the mango and tequila mixture into the molds.

Wait for them to freeze for at least 1-2 hours.

And enjoy!

Go Guatemala! You’re Finally on Your Way to the Oscars

Ixcanul is the first movie in 20 years — TWENTY — that Guatemala has entered for an Academy Award…and it’s pretty darn good.

This is María. She’s 17-year-old Mayan and she lives on an active volcano in Guatemala.

Yes, we said VOLCANO.

Wait? Who in their right mind would live on one of these things?!

Her parents fixed her up with a local farmer…she ain’t happy.

Yup, the picture above captures how she feels about her arranged marriage…

Because María dreams of seeing the modern world and big city.

Pepe, who would be like María’s MCM, tells her about life beyond the volcano is everything she dreams of.

Unfortunately for her future husband, María found love in a hopeless place (like Rihanna).

Everything is unlikely on an active volcano. Who knows if you will be here tomorrow. Run, María. ?

It isn’t long until before María finds out she is pregnant by Pepe.

And the father is NOT the husband.

The scandal.

Only the modern world can save her during a complication.

María finally gets the chance to visit the big city she has dreamed of, but at what cost?
