The ABCs of Meeting Your Fave VidCon Influencers

@ilovebby168 / Instagram

Each year, VidCon’s influencer line up gets better and better — and more crowded. Here are five tips to help you capture the most insta-worthy selfies with your fave creators.

Be Organized

Time flies when you’re having fun…and when you spend insane amounts of time in lines. Don’t wander aimlessly hoping to meet your favorite stars. Check Twitter accounts, Instagram or Facebook to see when influencers are having meet-and-greets or hosting panels. Get there early for a greet and at the tail end of a panel to catch them leaving the stage.

Be Tech Savvy

You only get one shot. Make sure you have room on your phone or camera.  Make sure you are juiced or have spare chargers in case batteries run low. Make sure you know how to use your camera.

Be a Wanderer

Needs must.  Sometimes you need to break away from the pack to score selfie gold.  If you’re schedules don’t match, ditch your friends and meet them later…VidCon only happens once a year.

Be Zen

This is not the time to freak and be a total fan girl or boy. Keep screaming to a minimum, it just cuts into your #selfie time.

Be Remembered

Ted Cruz

Ted Cruz just can’t express enough how much he supports Donald Trump. Cruz, who has consistently defended Trump’s offensive comments on Mexican immigrants, praised Trump being an “honest and unabashed” candidate who is taking on the “Washington cartel.” During a recent appearance on Fox News, the Cuban, Canadian-born GOP candidate reiterated that he has “never embraced amnesty.”

“In particular, he’s focusing on illegal immigration and sanctuary cities and a great many of the candidates in 2016 for the Republican nomination have been vocal, aggressive advocates of amnesty,” Cruz told Hannity. “I appreciate Donald’s focusing on illegal immigration. It’s an issue I have been fighting for a long time.”
