There Is A New Trailer For ‘Flatliners’ And It Will Leave You Freaked Out Long After Watching It

“Relax. Enjoy the experience.”

The latest trailer for “Flatliners” has less than 25 spoken words and it is still creepy af. Instead, we are greeted with heavy breathing, jarring screams and creepy laughter, as truly disturbing scenarios flash on the screen. Maybe its the lack of words makes it more creepy. You see people drinking and partying one minute and the next you see car accidents and terror-filled scenes that snap you from one emotion to the next.

“Flatliners” is about five medical students, one of which is portrayed by Diego Luna, who are curious about the afterlife and what happens when you die, so they start to experiment by stopping each others’ hearts. Their obsessions get the better of them as they try more and more dangerous experiences. This paranormal thriller, which shows what happens when you cross the line and go too far, is a remake of the 1990 version starring Julia Roberts and Kevin Bacon. Check out the trailer above.

“She’s possessed? That sucks!”

Coming to Netflix September 22nd is “Neo Yokio,” a new anime from the creative mind of Ezra Koenig, lead singer of Vampire Weekend. The lead character will be voiced by Jaden Smith, son of Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith, who has just about outgrown being connected to his A-List parents. Almost. Smith, who started his career as a cute child actor in heart string-pulling films like “Pursuit of Happiness” and “The Karate Kid,” has expanded his artistic horizons as a recording artist, and as a gender-fluid fashion model.

Smith’s next creative venture will be providing the voice of Kaz Kaan, the demon-slaying socialite who is the lead in “Neo Yokio.” The show is a parody of classic anime, allowing them to go above and beyond in the strange and awkward department. Joining Kaz on his journey are his homies, Gottlieb and Lexy, played by late night’s best comedy duo: Desus & Mero. They all live in a mythical version of New York City, where the World Trade Center is still standing, albeit underwater. Oh, and it just so happens to be littered with magic and demons.

Mero was pumped to announce his inclusion on the show to Twitter.

His fans were just as excited, throwing down some classic anime to express their excitement.

Mero plays Lexy, who from the trailer, appears to be a bit of a life coach to Kaz.

He gives him advice on how to dress and how to get back at the guys messing with him.

Although, from this image that Smith shared of Kaz preparing to destroy someone (or something) with a ball of energy, he may not need that much help.

As Kaz Kaan, Smith will play a young man who has everything (including magic powers), but still finds himself feeling melancholy on the inside. You know, like every teenager ever.

The show features performances by Jude Law, as Kaz Kaan’s robot butler, as well as appearances by Susan Sarandon, Jason Schwartzman, Steve Buscemi, Stephen Fry and Willow Smith.

Check out the trailer above to find out how strange, but cool, this anime parody series is going to be.
